Total eclipse of 11th August 1999[edit]
Hi Michael, thank you very much for your very beautiful eclipse maps! The last total eclipse in Germany was the one of 11th August 1999, which I saw when I was barely 4 years old. I was looking for a nice map of it but couldn't find one. Would you be able to create and upload one? I was thinking of something like File:Eclipses over Europe 1951-2000.jpg with the other years' eclipses removed. And if possible, a cropped, more detailed map of Germany and Austria (like this) would be amazing :-) Regards, Christallkeks (talk) 21:11, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
- Also, I just saw that the post-2000 maps of the eclipses over Europe are missing (you've got ten files for each continent, but only seven for Europe). It would be nice if you would upload them to Wikipedia, too. (I saw that you've got them on your website, but to avoid any copyright issues it'd be best if you upload them yourself.) Thanks again, Christallkeks (talk) 21:16, 23 March 2017 (UTC)
