Just reviewing the licence on this image, can you provide a link to the permission from the artist (Andrea Polli) please ? LGA talkedits 01:15, 9 February 2014 (UTC)
The license in this case belongs not to the artist but to the institution whose photographer took the photo as a work for hire at the installation's opening. The artist was there and agreed to the photography; the image has been used in other publications (print and online) by the institution. I can check on Monday to see if there is an explicit document on file.

Dear Mary Mark Ockerbloom,
Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2015 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the tenth edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2015) to produce a single Picture of the Year.
Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.
There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1322 candidate images. There are 56 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top #1 and #2 from each sub-category. In the final round, you may vote for just one or maximal three image to become the Picture of the Year.
Round 2 will end on 28 May 2016, 23:59:59 UTC.

- The license you supplied when uploading it does not match the one on Flikr, which is a non-commercial license. I am not sure which list you are referring to. Checking Commons:Licensing#Well-known licenses it lists acceptable and non-acceptable licenses and all CC-BY-NC licenses are not acceptable. I note also the image was reviewed by a bot but the bot was unable to confirm its acceptability, stating "The copyright status of the image was undeterminable by the bot, and requires human attention".--JohnBlackburne (talk) 11:49, 2 November 2018 (UTC)
Also worth noting that I came across it on WP and clicked through, curious about the artefact in the image. If it is only meant for use in the subject’s article on WP it could be uploaded to WP under the fair use criteria, for use only in that article. My apologies: I was sure it had been 2.0 Atttribution-Sharealike which Upload Wizard lists as a compliant Flickr license, but rechecking shows it is Non-commercial. The mistake was clearly mine. I have taken the image off the page, and you are free to delete it from commons. Thanks so much for finding a better option! Hi there! Kevin from Wiki Loves Monuments in the United States here. I know it's been a tough year for everyone, and I hope this message finds you well.
You are receiving this message as a participant in last year's Wiki Loves Monuments 2019 in the United States. First, a recap: We concluded with over 5,200 great photos of U.S. historical sites made possible by contributors like you. If you haven't yet seen, last year's U.S. winners are viewable here, and the international winners here (including multiple from the United States!).
Second, as you may have seen from the banner notices on Wikipedia, this year's Wiki Loves Monuments 2020 in the United States has been running through October instead of September in consideration of the pandemic and the hectic start of the fall season. Despite the challenges of the year, we're thrilled that the United States has surpassed 5,000 photo contributions so far.
October 31st is the last day to upload photos for the U.S. competition this year. If you've already contributed, thank you so much - and it's great to have you again this year! If you haven't yet contributed but are interested in participating again, you're invited to join us during these last couple days. Check out the United States event page for more information. I am writing to you because we are looking for feedback for a new Wikimedia Foundation project, Structured Data Across Wikimedia (SDAW). SDAW is a grant-funded programme that will explore ways to structure content on wikitext pages in a way that will be machine-recognizable and -relatable, in order to make reading, editing, and searching easier and more accessible across projects and on the Internet. We are now focusing on designing and building image suggestion features for experienced users.
We have some questions to ask you about your experience with uploading images here on Wikimedia Commons and then adding them to Wikipedia. You can answer these questions on a specific feedback page on Mediawiki, where we will gather feedback. As I said, these questions are in English, but your answers do not need to be in English! You can also answer in your own language, if you feel more comfortable.
Once the collecting of feedback will be over, we will sum it up and share with you a summary, along with updated mocks that will incorporate your inputs.
