Helferlein[edit]

Was jetzt?--Marie Adelaide (talk) 18:17, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Auf der Seite weiter runter scrollen. --Achim (talk) 18:19, 19 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Entschuldigung, bin sehr unbegabt in Computer-Dingen...

Was muss ich denn nun eigentlich eintragen?

Sala terrena at Belvedér[edit]

Could you please explain why do you keep removing the category:Sala terrena at Belvedér (Labská Stráň) from the category:Sala terrena in the Czech Republic? It is called a sala terrena (see for example here: [1]) and it is in the Czech Republic. If you have any reason for the repeated removal, could you specify it, please? --Jan Kameníček (talk) 17:54, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hallo Jan Kameníček. Nobody has any doubt that it is in the Czech Republic. I am very sorry, but I don't understand the czech language and cannot read your source. I can only say, that a Sala terrena in reality and normally is a type of garden-hall or garden-room in a castle (at the 'parterre', in front of the garden). Perhaps you have seen the Sala terrena in the Palace of Kroměříž (unfortunately no photo on Wikicommons)? Or that photo of the Sala terrena in the palace of Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou ? You could look also in the category:Sala terrena in Austria and in category:Sala terrena in Germany, there you can see some real Sala terrenas, and understand what I mean. But that object in the category:Sala terrena at Belvedér (Labská Stráň) is not a Sala terrena but more a type of a niche (maybe originally with a grotto decoration or statue or fountain in it ?) or maybe a ruin-like decoration in a classicistic or romantic garden (?). I cannot see any trace of a Sala terrena in the hole category (Or is there a different understanding of "sala terrena" in the czech language? I don't know...). Perhaps you can find another category for it, maybe under category:English gardens and category:English gardens by country, where they don't have a "Category:English gardens in the Czech republic". You could create it and add your category and category:Lednice Cultural Landscape . Greetings,--Marie Adelaide (talk) 18:40, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, you are right that sala terrena is usually placed in a garden of a castle, chateua or a manor's house, so the placement is quite exceptional here. However, various reliable sources call it sala terrena, and so people looking for its pictures are quite likely to search for them among others also in the category "sala terrena in the Czech Republic". For this reason it should be placed there, unless we find a more a reliable source stating that sources who declare this structure to be a sala terrena are wrong. --Jan Kameníček (talk) 18:54, 12 January 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Autopatrol given[edit]

Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically marked as "reviewed". This has no effect on your editing, it is simply intended to make it easier for users that are monitoring Recent changes or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones like yours. In addition, the Flickr upload feature and an increased number of batch-uploads in UploadWizard, uploading of freely licensed MP3 files, overwriting files uploaded by others and an increased limit for page renames per minute are now available to you. Thank you. ~riley (talk) 04:54, 25 March 2020 (UTC) Danke / Thank you,--Marie Adelaide (talk) 09:29, 26 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Red Hair / "artificial"[edit]

Hi. On File:Nancy collins.jpg I undid your description of the red hair as "artificial". I knew Collins when she lived in New Orleans in the 1980s/early 90s, and she was naturally red haired. I'm wondering what your criteria for judging? There are certainly obvious cases, but others less so. Cheers, -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 16:26, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
