First steps tutorial

Our first steps tour and our FAQ will help you a lot after registration. They explain how to customize the interface (for example the language), how to upload files and our basic licensing policy. You don't need technical skills in order to contribute here. Be bold contributing here and assume good faith for the intentions of others. This is a wiki—it is really easy.

Getting help

More information is available at the community portal. You may ask questions at the help desk, village pump or on IRC channel #wikimedia-commons (direct access). You can also contact an administrator on their talk page. If you have a specific copyright question, ask at Commons talk:Licensing.

Goodies, tips and tricks
  • Put Babel boxes on your user page so others know what languages you can speak and indicate your graphic abilities.
  • All your uploads are stored in your personal gallery
  • Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~
  • Use the CommonSense tool to find good categories for your files (then other people can find them too!)
  • To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:Image:Foo.jpg]], which produces: Image:Foo.jpg
  • If you're copying files from another project, be sure to use the CommonsHelper

Category:2018 European Figure Skating Championships[edit]

Спасибо за категорию и её наполнение! Я вчера на «Мегаспорте» тоже был (вообще хотел посмотреть на выступление пар/женщин, но из-за раздолбайства пришлось посетить выступление мужчин :-)). У меня тоже много фотографий (хоть и не таких красочных, т.к. далеко сидел, и фотоаппарат у вас лучше), и даже есть много видео. Добавлю потом некоторые по возможности. Вы тоже добавляйте некоторые в статьи Википедии (их во многих разделах, в т.ч. и русском, маловато). --Brateevsky {talk} 14:46, 20 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Речь, возможно, идёт о моей :-). В фигурное катание особо не лезу, так как тут и без меня фотографов хватает, а мне тягаться нет смысла со своей аппаратурой, а ничего профессионального брать не хочу, так как не хочу возиться с охранниками, которым не нравятся зеркалки. Зато испанцы используют именно моё фото в карточке Лео Месси, да и в других видах спорта большой вклад внёс. А вообще это всё к тому, что именно благодаря вашим работам, на которые я обратил внимание в 2011 году, у меня появилось желание заниматься этим всем. О, эти знаменитые охранники Мегаспорта и их представления о профессиональной фототехнике! К счастью у меня не далеко не профтехника, а если с объектива еще скрутить бленду, то им казалось, что все в порядке :-) Но справедливости ради, ситуация улучшается. На прошедшем ЧЕ так и вовсе молодежь волонтерила, наверно к ЧМФ натаскивают, все цивильно было и вежливо. А я себя поймала на том, что на фигурном катании уже и не "болею" ни за кого особо, а соревнования посещаю для пофотографировать. :-) Так и смотрю все программы через объектив :-)--Luu (talk) 18:50, 26 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
На Европе то уж точно не за кого, скучно всё это, пришёл только лишний раз на Хавьера и на французов в танцах посмотреть, толком тут и нечего делать в основном больше. Но в Мегаспорте ко мне ни разу никаких претензий не было, вот в Лужниках обычно жёстко бывает, друзей на матч с Аргентиной и вовсе развернули, а я фотик по ленте на досмотре пропустил, и его никто не заметил. Если бы повесил на себя, чую, заставили бы в камеру хранения сдавать. Мракобесие продолжилось и на Кубке конфедераций, говорят, что в Питере некоторые сотрудники не пропускали никого с фотиками, хотя чёрным по белому было написано, что запрещена только профессиональная фотосъёмка. Но со мной проблем не случилось, но к грядущему ЧМ стоит подготовиться с этими вопросами. Voltmetro 19:01, 26 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ну на футболе то понятно, все строже. А на фигурке публика то безобидная, а все равно, сумки при каждом входе в зал просили раскрывать, яблоки отбирали и прочие проявления "запрещать и не пускать" присутствовали. На ЧМ2011 я в Мегаспорт протаскивала фотоаппарат разобрав его: объектив отдельно, тушка в другом кармане сумки. А так не пускали с теми, которые по мнению охранников "большие". Template "Crop for Wikidata"[edit]

Hi Luu, you removed the template here. There is still no picture (or a crop from one) showing the man alone. What was the reason to delete it (you gave no hint in the summary)? Regards --Mirer (talk)

Hi! No, the template is set by people who suggest that (maybe) this picture could be used to crop the one person that is named. And then this picture should be added to Wikidata.

Hi again! I did the crop for Mikhail (though with another picture: [File:2019-2020 ISU Junior Grand Prix Final Iuliia Artemeva Mikhail Nazarychev 2019 12 07 2109.jpg]) and Iuliia. But the last one is so bad, that I'll give it another try. Maybe with another picture as well.
I also deleted some tags in the picture (from which I made Mikhails crop), since they are implied by the one I left or don't really show the shoe/boot. --Mirer (talk) 23:09, 23 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
