Sets have been reactivated?[edit]

I saw an edit summary to that effect by you in this history of Commons:Featured picture candidates. If that's the case, why on Commons:Featured pictures do I see the unclickable text "30b Sammlung Eybl USA James Montgomery Flagg (1877-1960) I want you for U.S. Army (Ich brauche Dich für die US-Armee). 1917. 101 x 76 cm. (Slg.Nr. 3116).jpg" instead of a thumbnail? Do you see a thumbnail third from the left under "Static non-photographic media"?

All the best,

Ikan Kekek (talk) 12:19, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I just noticed the date of that edit: 18 April 2015‎. Apparently, some time between then and December, 2015, sets were again deactivated. So should we do a hard revert to Yann's 14:05, 17 April 2015‎ save of Commons:Featured picture candidates for now, until the problem is fixed? I'm a little confused, because I would have thought the various candidate nominations and discussions would have been part of that article's history, but oddly enough, the latest edit I'm seeing in the history is from 15:35, 30 July 2015‎, but Adam Cuerden. I don't think sets were deactivated. What makes you think that was the case? -- King of 01:15, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe I misunderstood what "deactivated" meant. See Commons:Village pump#Featured picture sets are invisible for some background into what I mean to talk about. Ikan Kekek (talk) 03:47, 28 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Question[edit]

hi, Picture of the Year 2015 held what time? --Kasir (talk) 10:46, 12 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know, I'm not one of the organizers. -- King of 09:29, 13 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
File:Berliner Fernsehturm November 2013.jpg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
