That appeared to be some nasty stuff with the edges. The bot tries to do a lossless rotation, so that the image does not have to be recompressed and thus no quality loss occurs. Unfortunately this means that for some images with dimensions not dividable by 16 strange things around the edges may occur. RE:Flickereviewing

Hi, Kimse. I usually check for image sizes when I flickr-review images. In Image:Claytonkershaw.jpg‎ I checked, and the biggest size available on Flickr was uploaded to Commons. But, apparently in Image:Chase Headley RH swing.jpg‎ I forgot, for which I apologize. And in Image:Fred and Ginger from the Front.jpg, I marked the image as copyvio because that particular image was "© All rights reserved", when the rest of the images uploaded by the user in Flickr are under CC-BY-2.0. If that particular image is licensed as "© All rights reserved", I assumed that was for a reason and therefore I've marked it as copyvio. I've left a message concerning the copyright of the image to the user that uploaded it, so he could clarify it's situation. --KveD (talk) 01:06, 30 May 2008 (UTC)
