I noticed that you uploaded a file using the name File:Robert Mueller and Parry Aftab.jpg. A file by this name already existed on Commons. Overwriting an existing file should not be done except when making minor, uncontroversial corrections, so the file has been restored to its previous version. If the file that you attempted to upload is within our project scope and is in the public domain or published under a free license, please upload it again under a different name. Thank you. For more information, please see Commons:Overwriting files.

Hi Dennis, thanks for the notice. I'm a bit new to this area. Is it possible to save one of the cropped versions of the photo as a new file? How would I do that? What license should I specify? Thanks for your help.--Keithbob (talk) 15:57, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
CropTool (the one you used, I think) has an option to do that. Look carefully. Use the same license; that's what it uses by default. Try to drop an "alternate versions" link between the files to point to each other. If you don't get around to it soon, I will probably do it eventually. (I think I'm the original uploader of this file.) I'm guessing you just want an image of Aftab, as images of Mueller are easy to get? Happy holidays. --GRuban (talk) 03:08, 26 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi GR, thanks for your help. A wide shot of two people shaking hand is fine for an article but its not an appropriate photo for an infobox on a BLP. So, I'm trying to find or create a torso/head shot of Aftab. If you can help I'd be very grateful.--Keithbob (talk) 20:56, 31 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
