Goodies, tips, and tricks

You can find the files you have uploaded in your Uploads.
Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~.
To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg.
You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account.

Les règles à suivre sur Wikimedia Commons[edit]

Wikimedia est très sensible à la question des sources et des licences, indispensable pour que l'encyclopédie puis rester accessible à toutes et tous. Vous devez impérativement indiquer pour chaque document :

l'auteur : ce n'est pas vous, c'est probablement Antony Damien
la date de création : ce n'est pas la date de téléchargement, mais la date à laquelle l'oeuvre a été créée(cela peut être indiqué approximativement)
les licences, veuillez lire pour commencer Commons:À propos des licences !
- Dans le cas d'Antony Damien, mort en 1943, depuis plus de 70 ans, il faut employer : Template:PD-old-70 : {{PD-old-70}}
- Mais ce n'est pas encore suffisant, car il faut AUSSI indiquer "pourquoi cette œuvre est dans le domaine public aux États-Unis", et cela se complique, il faut trouver une licence valable dans : Commons:Bandeaux de licence/Spécifiques à certains pays#États-Unis. Cela pourrait être, selon l'historique de publication de ces oeuvres, à vous de voir : {{PD-US-unpublished}} – Jamais publié nulle part avant 2003.

Sans tenir compte des mises en garde sur cette page, sans indiquer les informations mentionnées ci-dessus, vous risquez qu'à court terme toutes ces images soient retirées. Sans copyright correct sur toutes les informations accessibles dans les projets de Wikimedia, il n'y aurait pas de partage libre des connaissances. Statut des droits d'auteur de vos images[edit]

Bonjour. Merci pour les images que vous avez uploadées. Elles ont utiles à notre projet, mais malheureusement certaines d'entre elles nous posent problème en ce qui concerne les droits d'auteur, que nous tenons à respecter. Plus précisément :

Il s'agit d’œuvres d'Antony Damien. Elles sont dans le domaine public en France, mais aux États-Unis l’œuvre d'Antony Damien n'est dans le domaine public que pour les créations antérieures au 1er janvier 1924. Pourriez-vous tenter de dater ces œuvres ? Cela réglerait le problème de droit d'auteur pour les œuvres antérieures à cette date. Pour les œuvres postérieures, il faudrait alors l'autorisation de tous les ayant droits d'Antony Damien.

Pour ces photos, il faudrait identifier le photographe pour pouvoir déterminer si elles sont dans le domaine public ou non. Si elles ont déjà été publiées (par exemple dans des journaux), il est nécessaire de donner des informations sur cette publication (date, nom du photographe mentionné ou non), car cela peut nous permettre de déterminer si ces photos sont dans le domaine public ou non. Je suis à l'origine de ces photos, ces tableaux sont ma propriété, ils n'ont fait l'objet d'aucune publication ormis sur les sites de ventes aux encheres ou ils ont été vendus. Bonjour. Effectivement, le texte dans le fichier File:Eugene Damien.png est assez court et simple et il n'est pas sûr qu'il soit protégé par le droit d'auteur. Néanmoins, il serait mieux que vous renseigniez la source exacte de ce texte, afin que nous puissions clarifier avec le plus de certitude possible son statut juridique. https://data.bnf.fr/fr/15457544/eugene_damien/ n'est pas la source de cette image. Ce site insère automatiquement des illustrations venant de... Wikimedia Commons. Vous avez probablement scanné cette page dans un livre. Il suffirait d'indiquer la référence de ce livre (titre, auteur et date de publication).

Même si un tableau est votre propriété et qu'il n'a jamais fait l'objet de publication, vous n'avez pas forcément le droit d'en publier des copies. En France, l’œuvre d'Antony Damien est tombée dans le domaine public, donc on peut librement faire des copies de ses tableaux (même sans en être propriétaire). Par contre, pour déterminer le statut de ces œuvres aux USA (où notre site est basé) il serait utile de connaître la date de création de ces tableaux. En ce qui concerne la photo venant de data BNF, je ne me souviens pas avoir scanner quoi que ce soit, s'il elle ne vient pas de la Bnf elle doit venir de Gallica qui sont les deux seules sources sur lesquelles je travaille.

En cherchant, j'ai trouvé le livre dont le fichier File:Eugene Damien.png est extrait. Il s'agit de Jules Martin, Nos auteurs et compositeurs dramatiques : portraits et biographies, Ernest Flammarion, Paris, 1897, p. 386. Je ne sais pas où vous avez trouvé cette image, car la copie de ce livre sur Gallica est d'une qualité inférieure au fichier que vous avez uploadé.
