Hi, which program did you use to create the svg version of Maslow's hierarchy? /Lokal_Profil 23:09, 27 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

No worries. I think I've "fixed" the image. Tell me if there is anything you're not happy with. /Lokal_Profil 01:07, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks a lot, I did not know you could edit it with a text editor, though that makes a lot of sense now :) . Thanks for fixing it up! J. Finkelstein 17:19, 1 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No problems =) /Lokal_Profil 00:09, 2 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, i am working on a german gfdl-biology-schoolbook. I find your drawing really helpful, since it shows only the most important parts. Could you please upload a *.svg vectorimageversion? (probably under a public domain or cc-by-sa license?). That would really be helpful. Please leave me a message on my user site [1] oder my german usersite. Thanks dude Lanzi (talk) 17:26, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm afraid I have long since lost the original SVG version of this file. I am truly sorry. However, you are free to recreate it under the terms of the GFDL. J. Finkelstein (talk) 02:44, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]
What a pitty. So, thanks for your quick answer. Lanzi (talk) 09:46, 31 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, J. Finkelstein!
Tip: Add categories to your files
Tip: Add categories to your files

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.
