Decline reason: "This request has been open for more than a month, and in a highly watched category. That it has not been acted upon is, in and of itself, suggestive that it is not persuasive or is otherwise inadequate. This indeed appears to be the case; as only certain examples: 1) the initial request ("I recognize the blocking as justified and I promise not to commit such actions in the future") was a mere reformulation of prose at COM:BP with no genuine original--thus credible, sincere--content (i.e., devoid of explanation of the problematic actions, the policies of which they ran afoul, why we can can expect the issue to discontinue, etc.) and 2) even after request for elaboration, the response failed to identify the genuine issue. While perhaps a language issue, "the search for justice instead of finding a compromise" is in no way a reasonable summation of the precipitating behaviour. As you said, the main reason for the duration of the block was the transfer of the conflict from an adjacent project to Commons. Including: adding files to Wikimedia Commons that are obviously not subject to a free license. In addition, the search for justice instead of finding a compromise (unwillingness to work for the good of the project). Elements of the previous conflict that resulted in the 14-day ban: excessive pressure on editors, classified as "trolling" and "harassment". — Ирука13 08:01, 7 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
