Dear Hddty,

Wikimedia Commons is happy to announce that the second round of the 2016 Picture of the Year competition is now open. This year will be the eleventh edition of the annual Wikimedia Commons photo competition, which recognizes exceptional contributions by users on Wikimedia Commons. Wikimedia users are invited to vote for their favorite images featured on Commons during the last year (2016) to produce a single Picture of the Year.

Hundreds of images that have been rated Featured Pictures by the international Wikimedia Commons community in the past year were entered in this competition. These images include professional animal and plant shots, breathtaking panoramas and skylines, restorations of historical images, photographs portraying the world's best architecture, impressive human portraits, and so much more.

There are two total rounds of voting. In the first round, you voted for as many images as you liked. In Round 1, there were 1475 candidate images. There are 58 finalists in Round 2, comprised of the top 30 overall as well as the top #1 and #2 from each sub-category.

In the final round, you may vote for just one or maximal three image to become the Picture of the Year.

Round 2 will end on 20 April 2017, 23:59:59 UTC.

@Jesuisfederaliste: Karena setiap provinsi di Indonesia hanya punya logo saja, dan jika ada seharusnya ditampilkan. Contohnya seperti di Amerika di negara bagian Washington

Flag of Indonesia[edit]

Hey there! Can you explain why you changed our flag? I know there are no exact points of color contrast in the red color, but isn't a little bit bright? And doesn't compatible with red color of shield of Pancasila and other nation flag as well?   1. The color is specified at law (UU 24 Tahun 2009)
  2. File:Flag of Indonesia.svg and File:Flag of Monaco.svg are both first created by User:SKopp, you can notice that the red has the exact same color until I changed it.

Hi, I am Silsurya (Silvester Surya), the user of Wikipedia. I was told that the photo of Governor Djarot you have recommended to be deleted. I see your reason for deleting this file. Please note that I am adapting the photo of Governor Djarot from the official site of jakarta.go.id and of course this is an official photo of Governor Djarot. Regarding bad flags and poor edits from the staff of the governor's office, I do not know about them. Thanks for your attention. I hope we can be friend in real life too.

Bagas Hutagalung, Indonesia doesn't have a provincial flag because it is an unitary state, not a federation, and if it does, why the flag didn't showed up in front of governor office like this photo in front of Texas governor building? Also because there are no Indonesia provincial flag, they make logo in form of flag so it could be displayed. --Hddty. (talk) 12:31, 23 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Can you add South Sudan which became independent in 2011 and a UN member a few weeks later in 2011 in the animated map File:UN member states animation.gif? (I am not tech savvy with animated files as well as SVG files.)

Halo @Hddty, saya mau bertanya, untuk Kabupaten Konawe Kepulauan kenapa petanya masih menyatu dengan Kabupaten Konawe ya? Hal ini saya dapati ketika saya mengisi semua ID wilayah kabupaten dan kota di peta tersebut. Selain itu, saya juga menemukan bahwa Kabupaten Administratif Kepulauan Seribu juga tidak nampak di peta, apakah dikarenakan ukurannya yang terlalu kecil? @Ibrahim Muizzuddin: Silahkan anda buat perubahan di file ini jika itu dirasa benar karena saya sekarang sudah jarang edit disini. File ini sumbernya dari File:Electoral Districts Indonesia DPR 2019.svg, tidak ada Kepulauan Seribu disitu, saya hanya bisa merubah warna dan menambah batas-batas dengan Inkscape; seharusnya ada Kepulauan Seribu, namun tidak bisa terlihat dipeta karena terlalu kecil, mungkin harus dibuat seperti File:Northern Mariana Islands on the globe (Southeast Asia centered) (small islands magnified).svg agar terlihat. The color of the Gerindra Party has recently been changed in the English Wikipedia to #8B0000 (dark red). It would be nice if you update this diagram.
