Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Minor misspelling

Hello, Georgialh! I noticed that File:Carin at Saunders Creek Alberta.jpg has a typo in the first word. I wouldn’t change it on my own initiative, because we’re supposed to correct spelling of proper names only, not minor stuff (and in this case the description & category will expose it to people searching or browsing for cairns regardless). Another thing: the poster from the same site could be a problem with regard to copyright, as Canada has freedom of panorama only for buildings and 3-D art, making your photo a derivative work in which your rights are shared with the creator of the map. Any idea how old it is, or if the maker is contactable for permission? Might it have been published earlier on paper, in a local history or the like? In the event the file gets deleted here (I‘m not inclined to challenge it myself) there’s a good chance it can be hosted on enWP under a fair use rationale, once your article is in mainspace, because the poster itself is discussed therein.
