I do not know because they are deleting my pictures. I am author of them. I am a paleontologist and i collect my photographer and material. The maps that I was did and is the result of studies that I have done in places. I excavation dinosaurs and the public material that is a result of my excavations. Swedish Government pictures[edit]

Hello Fschoenm. I saw that you created Template:SwedishGovernment but unluckily the conditions of this license are against the requirements of the Wikimedia Commons, see Commons:Licensing. So I put it and all images using it for the time beeing on Commons:Deletion requests. Perhaps you can ask at the swedish governmental offices (e.g. via email or phone) and explain to them what we are and why we can only accept free content as this would be really a pity if we have to delete these nice images. Kategorien[edit]

Moin Fschoenm! Vielen Dank, daß Du unkategorisierte Bilder kategorisierst! Bitte paß aber auf, daß Du wirklich die spezifischsten Kategorien auswählst, in die das Bild paßt - ansonsten gibt's nur doppelte Arbeit. Bei dem Bild hier beispielsweise bringt die Kategorisierung als "Segelschiffe" nicht viel, dabei ist unter Category:Sailing ships recht viel Hilfestellung angegeben, um die richtigen Kategorien zu finden. Danke! Aber bei manchen Bildern halte ich es fuer besser, dass sie ueberhaupt auffindbar sind und gebe ihnen nur eine recht allgemeine Kategorie. Dann ist es immer noch wahrscheinlicher, dass jemand mit mehr Fachwissen ein Bild entdeckt und spezifischer kategorisieren kann, das er in der Masse der unkategorisierten Bilder nicht gesehen haette. Fuer Image:La Singladura (173316050).jpg zum Beispiel haette ich die passende Kategorie gar nicht gewusst, und trotzdem ist es jetzt dort gelandet :) --Fschoenm 10:46, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Jein - natürlich ist eine Kategorie besser als keine. Aber wie gesagt, mit einem einfachen Blick auf die Zielkategorienseite hättest Du trotzdem (ohne Fachwissen!) eine sehr viel genauere Sortierung hinbekommen. Keine Ahnung, wie man Segelschiffe kategorisiert. Ich kann die Masten zaehlen und das war's schon; wenn ich eine genauere Kategorie gewusst haette, haette ich es auch dort einsortiert. Und andere haben dadurch nicht mehr Arbeit als wenn das Bild ohne Kategorie geblieben waere. Es bekommen nur u.U. I see you are keeping up the good work , really good to have you around here! Just a tip: when dealing with obscure maps etc like the one above, a quick glance at the uploaders contribs may give a very good hint about what an image is about, even if it's lacking description or have been put in a meaningless category like category:Maps. The good thing about watching the community pages (Commons:) is that you get to know more about all aspects of this huge project. The good thing about contributing (apart from the fact that help is needed there as well) is that other users get to know and recognize you. Many of the "regular voters" at RfA are concerned about such participation and interactions with other users, it's almost just as important as knowledge of the technical and legal stuff. You've done many tons of edits, but I only noticed you because I had tagged a lot of images {{Uncat}} and you came along sorting all of them out almost right away. I see you marked the image image:Silicon_chip_3d.png for possible deletion. I have however indicated on the page that it was loaded from the English Wikipedia and released there under GNU/FDL license by David Carron. Delete relocated categories?[edit]

Hi Fschoenm, I’ve seen that You initiated the relocation of Category:People from Bremen to Category:People of Bremen – can the now empty category People from Bremen be taged for speedydeletion or is there some special procedure to be observed in these cases?
