Copyright status: File:US 1 Business.svg
This media may be deleted. |
Thanks for uploading File:US 1 Business.svg. I notice that the file page either doesn't contain enough information about the license or it contains contradictory information about the license, so the copyright status is unclear.
If you created this file yourself, then you must provide a valid copyright tag. For example, you can tag it with {{self|GFDL|cc-by-sa-all}} to release it under the multi-license GFDL plus Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike All-version license or you can tag it with {{PD-self}} to release it into the public domain. (See Commons:Copyright tags for the full list of license tags that you can use.) If you did not create the file yourself or if it is a derivative of another work that is possibly subject to copyright protection, then you must specify where you found it (e.g. usually a link to the web page where you got it), you must provide proof that it has a license that is acceptable for Commons (e.g. usually a link to the terms of use for content from that page), and you must add an appropriate license tag. If you did not create the file yourself and the specific source and license information is not available on the web, you must obtain permission through the VRT system and follow the procedure described there. Note that any unsourced or improperly licensed files will be deleted one week after they have been marked as lacking proper information, as described in criteria for deletion. If you have uploaded other files, please confirm that you have provided the proper information for those files, too. If you have any questions about licenses please ask at Commons:Village pump/Copyright or see our help pages. Thank you. |

Mexico shield request
Would it be possible to get a shield for en:Mexican Federal Highway 305D? Raymie (talk) 23:25, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
- Sure thing; you can also request files at ENWP at w:en:WP:HWY/RM. I plan on (re)making the rest of the CF shields, but I haven't bothered to make time to do it yet. –Fredddie™ 23:30, 13 February 2017 (UTC)
Notification about possible deletion
Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.
If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |

Shield for Farm to Market Road 3539
I need this shield uploaded to show on the respective page. I found info on where FM 3539 was (proposed road SH 20 to the Rio Grande, see the minute order indicating removal of FM 1109 on June 30, 2005 (which does not seem to be available online anywhere at the moment); it says Proposed Location for a new FM, meaning it was FM 3539 since it was proposed after FM 3538 but before FM 3540) Alexlatham96 (talk) 05:37, 11 September 2017 (UTC)
Redirect to older files
Hi Fredddie,
please do not tag redirects as {{Speedy}}. See also Template:FilemoverWelcome/en. Regards, Hystrix (talk) 11:34, 11 September 2017 (UTC)
- @Hystrix: Do you mean these? File:I-40 (MN 1957).svg File:I-25 (MN 1957).svg File:I-10 (MN 1957).svg which were only created because I was dyslexic for a moment or two and misspelled the abbreviation for New Mexico? It would be appreciated if you would delete them again. –Fredddie™ 21:23, 11 September 2017 (UTC)
- The files are from 2008. I have searched for copyvios already found some files of Commons, which are only used in cities wiki. You are free to submit a regular delete request. Hystrix (talk) 12:39, 12 September 2017 (UTC)

- @Alexlatham96: it's not really necessary to request them to me personally. There are tracking categories and a shield request page at ENWP; please use that instead. –Fredddie™ 23:27, 21 September 2017 (UTC)

Rename the RM files
I renamed the RM files. Can you remove the old ones of RM 44, RM 45, RM 46, RM 47, RM 48, RM 49, RM 50, and RM 51? Because these are wrong! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexlatham96 (talk • contribs)
- Calm down, I'm fixing them. Also, sign your posts. –Fredddie™ 23:01, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
- @Alexlatham96: next time, don't do that. Technically, what you did was a copyright violation, but I don't care and they're all fixed anyhow. –Fredddie™ 23:13, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
- Well, I haven't done this before. I put a notice on who owns the files, and where the original file was. note that the RM 45 file, however, is still wrong. Thank you for the fixing!–Alexlatham96 (talk) 23:23, 20 October 2017 (UTC)
