Greetings! You uploaded this image a few days ago, and placed a {{Not-PD-US-URAA}} tag on it. That tag notes "Images whose copyright was restored in the U.S. by the URAA are no longer accepted at Wikimedia Commons." I'm curious why you would upload it then? I've not seen this tag before, so I'm welcome to input on why this was done? --Hammersoft (talk) 15:17, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Hi @Hammersoft:  ! The URAA issue was largely discussed in 2014 (you can see the entire debate here), and it was concluded that "URAA cannot be used as the sole reason for deletion. Deleted files can be restored after a discussion in COM:UDR. Potentially URAA-affected files should be tagged with {{Not-PD-US-URAA}}."
Nevertheless, some admin don't allow include URAA images on the English wiki, stating that only Creative Commons and PD-US images must be included there. But there is not a clear consensus about it, and several articles have Non-PD-US images on them. Other admin say that URAA images are allowed to be included on projects that do not admit fair use, p.e. the Spanish Wiki. - Fma12 (talk) 15:55, 11 April 2020 (UTC)

Football uniforms

Hello, i really appreciate the work you do with the american football uniforms. Could you draw the uniforms for Seattle Seahawks too? It would be awesome. Thank you. --Merson (talk) 10:08, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi, @Merson: thanks for your kind words to my work. In fact, the next uniforms I have in mind are the Seattle Seahawks kits so they Will be uploaded soon. Best regards, Fma12 (talk) 10:33, 5 May 2020 (UTC)

Hi! It has come to my attention that you have removed a warning which says that a file doesn't have enough information about the source or license conditions. Nevertheless, it seems to me that this information is still missing and I have restored the tag. You may either add the required information or, if you think that required information is already given, put the image up for a deletion request so that it won't automatically be deleted. Thank you.

File:Percy ROJAS 1974-1979.png--Patrick Rogel (talk) 15:09, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

Hi. How many times (years) should I have to say the same thing to you? A 2014 blog post is not an evidence that image has been published more than 20 years ago. If you don't agree with the {{no permission since}} tag please open a regular deletion request instead. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 15:12, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
Hi @Patrick Rogel: What's your problem with me? I got your message, isn't enough??? You reverted my edit on Percy Rojas, I got it and I didn't do anything else after that. Who are you to revert my edit on my own talk page???? Before threatening me, please calm down and take a look at Percy Rojas file and you'll see that I didn't go further with your reversion. And stop with your misconduct towards me or I'll report you for harasement. I'm getting tired of your behaviour.
By the way, the most annoying part of your message is: "How many times (years) should I have to say the same thing to you"... ? What is this?? You're talking like if I uploaded a lot of copyvios or images with doubtful licenses. Please try to be more polite because patience is not for ever. - Fma12 (talk) 15:37, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
Hi. First you are not allowed to remove deletion templates from files; second it's not recommended to erase messages from your talk page except for archiving. I've replaced the warning tag only because a related explanation was following. I'm sorry you see warning messages like a threat but you should know (you are not a newbie) that these messages have been created by Commonists (not by me), have an informative goal and are used thousand times a day without complaints from users who receive them. But you should know too that the best way to not receive this kind of messages is to stop to upload problematic files. It's funny too to hear you speak of "harasement.": I remind you it's you who made the first move by removing a valid warning template I had put on a file you haven't even uploaded! Regarding the other funny assumption that "(I'm) talking like if (you) uploaded a lot of copyvios or images with doubtful licenses", there's no more true: I've indeed no problem with you but as a file reviewer I've indeed problems with your files. There's a misunderstanding by you since several years of the Argentinan copyright law and you doesn't seem to improve despite the countless red links (for files deleted) accumulating on your talk page, despite what has been said to you over these years which is always the same and simple thing: you have to provide evidence that files you upload have been published (not created) more than 20 years ago. Please note too it's various Administrators who have deleted these files, not me. And you are true: one day Administrators might have to look more closely at your past uploads and decide that, indeed, enough is enough and the reproduction of the same errors are very annoying and time-consuming for reviewers who have to babysit you. Yours, --Patrick Rogel (talk) 16:53, 1 June 2020 (UTC)
@Patrick Rogel: You are right, I'm not a newbie but I can commit mistakes uploading files which license are doubtful (per case, tagging it as {{PD-textlogo}} when other user consider it is above the TOO and then nominates it for deletion). Regarding your statement that other administrators may note than I commit the same mistake over and over (which is not true, but you assure this), I think they will surely take into account that all of my uploads have been in good faith. Having uploaded almost 7,000 files on Commons, I may surely have a bunch nominated or deleted, of course. Moreover, this is not the first time you mention it. You will always be welcome to my talk to discuss or leave your feedback, but with an appropriate tone. How many times (years) should I have to say the same thing to you is not acceptable, at least for me so I've been alwasys respectful with you and request the same. Not the kind of reply like "have to babysit you"... Seriously, do you understand what "respect" means?? That's what I'm talking about. In any case, you are the one who should be babysit (starting with a basic kids education, maybe?) considering that your harsh behaviour doesn't end despite I told you to improve your manners more than once. Again, you're right, I won't delete this conversation so it could be used as evidence for future discussions. If I remember rightly, you had been warned by an administrator for your inappropriate tone in a this DR. The same admin who also told you: So, you are nominating for deletion a photo from the '70s because you are sure that it was published in 2019 for the first time? Do you have evidences of that? Otherwise, it's a violation of assuming good faith (something that every good wikimedian should assume) and a -as written above- an abusive DR. It should be useless to repeat that, but I do so: if you have no proof of that first publication in 2019, you're nominating files for deletion without really knowing why, a behaviour that is very close to vandalism. Evidently you didn't take the lesson.
About the photo which tag I removed, I did not know that a special permission was needed to replace it with a license if you think that a photo is suitable to be in Commons. Per case, Percy Rojas played for Argentine club Independiente in 1974-76. In the image he's wearing Independiente kit and holding the Copa Libertadores trophy (won by the club in 1975) so the picture was taken that year, that is the fact. I don't think that image has been first published on the web cited as source for the first time. But this will be solved by an admin in a deletion request, I guess. My edit on this file was in pure good faith, convinced that image was published on the Argentine media. But you can think different, what you can't do is to insist on your personal issues with me. I hope you cease with this, once and for all. I won't tolerate any of your abusive tone at all. Best regards, – Fma12 (talk) 21:09, 1 June 2020 (UTC)

LA Chargers Uniform

Great work on the updated Chargers uniform image. I noticed that the numbers on the navy blue uniform were rendered in yellow with a white outline. Small issue overall, but they're actually white with yellow outlines like on the powder blues. Thought I'd let you know so there's a chance to update it. Cheers! https://www.chargers.com/news/new-uniforms-2020 - JamieTrex (talk)

Hi @JamieTrex: , thanks for your feedback and kind comment about my work. I really enjoy a lot making uniforms and I'm on the way to make the changes to the Chargers kits so before this weekend they will be updated. Thanks for the support, again. - Fma12 (talk) 20:36, 25 June 2020 (UTC)

Some NFL uniforms mistakes

Hello Fernando. I'm very grateful for your contribution and overhaul of the mostly outdated designs of the NFL uniforms. However, as an eagle eye for all NFL uniforms, I couldn't help but notice some mistakes with some team's uniforms. May I be able to evulate on some of these errors once I check all of them?--GalaxyFighter55 (talk) 00:47, 1 July 2020 (UTC)

Hi, @GalaxyFighter55: thanks for you recognition and kind words. I really enjoy designing the NFL and NCAA uniforms. Of course you are free to let me know all the mistakes you can find on the uniforms so I'll fix them. From I'll be awaiting for your feedback, thanks again. Fma12 (talk) 11:56, 1 July 2020 (UTC)
Ok, so I will go by teams @Fma12: . --GalaxyFighter55 (talk) 01:58, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

NEW YORK JETS: This is the first team I noticed errors with the uniforms. The facemasks are green when they should all be black. Also, the Jets do not generally use mono-green and mono-white socks, they use regular green-over-white socks for a majority of games on both color and white kits. The Jets have only worn the black alternate uniforms in mono-black socks so far, so that is ok. ✓ Done

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS: The color and alternate kits are backwards. The Jaguars have the black uniforms designated as the color kit and the teal uniforms designated as the alternate kit. ✓ Done

CAROLINA PANTHERS: The Panthers generally use black socks with the color kit and blue socks with the white kit you have made for the presentation. The alternate is fine. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GalaxyFighter55 (talk • contribs) 01:49, 2 July 2020 (UTC) ✓ Done

DALLAS COWBOYS: Navy blue-over-white socks for color kit and royal blue-over-white socks for white kit. The alternate kit is outdated and hasn't been used since 2012. (I know the image is from 2012 btw) ✓ Done

DENVER BRONCOS: This one's going to be easy. The toilet seat-like collars are just outdated from Nike's previous template design. They just need to be fixed. ✓ Done

TENNESSEE TITANS: Alternate kit's shoulder plates should be silver like the color and white kits. — Preceding unsigned comment added by GalaxyFighter55 (talk • contribs) 02:05, 2 July 2020 (UTC) ✓ Done All of them updated

Ireland copyright

Surely this addition you made uses essentially the same reasoning as all other EU countries per {{PD-anon-70-EU}}? Is there really any difference and need for a country specific PD anon template at all? Ww2censor (talk) 16:14, 7 July 2020 (UTC)

@Ww2censor: While searching for a suitable license for an old photo, (1923) and being aware of {{PD-Ireland}} is deprecated, I found this template (NOT created by me, by the way) and I thought that adding it to the copyright rules... /Ireland would be an useful addition. Moreover, I had added the {{PD-Spain-photo}} to Commons:Copyright rules by territory/Spain for the same reason.
As I 'm not the creator of the Ireland-anon template, I think you should ask his creator, User:Jimregan, to find out the information you need. Fma12 (talk) 19:28, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
It surprises me you would choose that one instead of the EU one. A common template would seem like a better choice. Ww2censor (talk) 21:33, 7 July 2020 (UTC)
I already gave you my reasons to do it so you're not surprised anymore. Otherwise, if you think the Ireland-anon template is not useful (or at least, the same than {{Anonymous-EU}}) you could nominate it for deletion. I don't really care. - Fma12 (talk) 11:44, 8 July 2020 (UTC)

Washington Football Team uniforms

Hey Fernando. After today's announcements, Washington Redskins was moved to Washington Football Team and updates were made to the team's logos. Images of the new uniforms - same as before but with a changed wordmark logo and with numbers on the helmets - can be seen here. I was wondering if you could create a uniform image for the infobox. Thanks so much. Rockhead126 (talk) 21:09, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

Hi, @Rockhead126: , I had heard some news about the change of name of the (ex) Redskins, a case similar to the MLB team Cleveland Indians. Of course, I'll be working on the new uniforms and image to upload them this weekend. Thanks you for the information and best regards, Fma12 (talk) 21:23, 23 July 2020 (UTC)

NFL uniforms

Good morning, @Fma12: , I hope you have been well. I have a couple more NFL uniform requests that will likely be the last before next season. If you have the time would you mind making some minor updates? I understand you must be a busy man, so don't be compelled to do this. Thank you! Jimania16 (talk) 13:30, 6 August 2020 (UTC)

Hi, @Jimania16: , how are you? Yes, I've been pretty busy but I'll make a time to update the uniforms, please give me information about them in order to make the changes as accurate as possible. Thank you! Best wishes, Fma12 (talk) 18:57, 8 August 2020 (UTC)
@Fma12: I have been well, thank you for asking. I hope you have been as well. These are really minor changes:
For the Carolina Panthers, white pants (like that of the away uniform) would be more appropriate for the alternate uniforms rather than silver, as they have not worn the blue with silver pants in a couple of years. This is also evidenced in a recent photoshoot with players found here.
This next change is not that necessary and is honestly optional. The Kansas City Chiefs have worn a patch memorializing their late team founder and AFL architect Lamar Hunt since the 2007 season, so I thought that would be a nice touch to those uniforms. An example could be found here. This website, the Gridiron Uniform Database, is a fantastic resource if you want intricate details regarding NFL uniforms.
Like I said before, these are the last of major uniform changes likely before next season, so I won't be bugging you anymore. God bless, Jimania16 (talk) 21:52, 10 August 2020 (UTC)

Club Almirante Brown

Si le ponés "own work", te lo van a borrar tarde o temprano.
Para subir imágenes a commons, tenés que hacerlo a través de este link, que lo encontrás en el menú de la izquierda en la página de inicio, donde dice "upload file". Y vas completando los campos según te pide. Espero haberte sido de ayuda, abrazo. Fma12 (talk) 19:25, 1 September 2020 (UTC)

Los Angeles Rams uniforms

It appears the Rams have ditched the completely 1/1/1 white look for the away kits at the last second before the season started and decided on using white jersey-over-white pants in tandem with the royal blue socks. I was wondering if you could resolve it with a simple recoloring of the socks for the Ram's 2020 uniforms. It shouldn't take long and I don't want to revise your own work without your permission.

Wrong year

These cig cards were printed in 1901 after the 1901 FA Cup final and not in 1902. Govvy (talk) 11:49, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

@Govvy: I don't really know when those series were printed, I just took the information from ebay auctions, which cited that date as the year of releasing. According to the Trading Card Database, the only Ogden's cards issued in 1901 belonged to the "Ogdens Our Leading Footballers" series, but I don't know the English football as good as you to deny or verify that info. - Fma12 (talk) 15:36, 12 November 2020 (UTC)
Tottenham and Sheffield United contested the FA Cup in 1901, the photographs themselves were taken on match day in April. It's known they were available in December of that year, so they were produced in the A Series between May and December 1901. Cheers. Govvy (talk) 16:34, 12 November 2020 (UTC)

File:Florida_gators_football_unif19.png

I noticed on the Florida Gators uniforms image you uploaded to the 2019 Florida Gators football team wiki that the striping on the blue home jerseys is incorrect. The sleeve stripes should be orange-white-orange, not white-orange-white. Florida has used an orange-blue-white-blue-orange "master stripe" for most of its uniform elements since 1998 (the orange jersey being the most notable exception, though there are some others).

The image is also missing the white helmets that Florida wore against Vanderbilt. Those white-shelled helmets had a tapered orange-white-blue-white-orange pattern, and the blue script "Gators" was outlined in orange.

Well, I will be uploading the uniform soon.

Escudos

Hola Fma12 !

Saludos, y espero haberte ayudado! Fma12 (talk) 23:00, 8 February 2021 (UTC)
