Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

FPC

Hello!

I saw that you kind of struggled with the new 50-edit-rule. May I suggest that you simply try to add some descriptions on images in the language(s) that you speak to get the quota? I saw that you are a user from Sweden - there are only a few images with a swedish description, so it could be nice starting with that. :-) Regards, Grand-Duc (talk) 02:22, 10 January 2011 (UTC)

Doubt regarding usage of logo

I have asked from an association to use their logo in wiki article about their association. Let me know how i can use their logo in wiki commons. I have credited the author as well as source to their association website

It was very nice speaking with you yesterday too. I do apologize not getting back to Marc when he contacted me earlier last month. Our schedule has been quite hectic.

Yes, we will gladly give you and Temple Beth Sholom permission to use the four photos we shot of TBS for use on your Wikipedia page. I'm guessing you screen captured the selected photos from our website as .jpeg files.

In lieu of financial compensation, we would greatly appreciate photo credit for all the images used. New York Focus, LLC owns the copyrights to all photography taken by us. You must use the copyright symbol and also add our website URL: newyorkcityfocus.com to your web page for ownership.

Our photos cannot be sold or transferred to other parties and can only be used for the Temple Beth Sholom's Wikipedia page. If you are in agreement with these requirements, then you can proceed accordingly.

One of the interiors is an image of the Sanctuary and the other is the Lobby seating area. Both exteriors feature the Temple's new wing addition and entrance. I'm sure Marc can give you a more in-depth description of each photo.

Sorry for not submitting the license for this video. I thought the license was in the Open Beelden-template, but now I noticed it is not. I provided the right template. There is no magic with the script. It would need a complete rewrite as I suggested there. I think you found the two links. License+ and License- in the "tabbar-cycler" (Screenshot: File:Licensereview.png). If you want to correct something, you have to click on edit before and do the changes. Don't save, just click on license+ and script will replace the license-review-request template with the reviewed-license template. For Flickr, it checks whether the user is in this list and notifies you, if so (then it is your decision how you proceed). It generates an automatic thank-you message, which you can post to the Photo on Flickr (you need an account there) as a comment. This was recommended by some people in order preventing uploading the same image from Flickr twice and giving the Flickr-user the chance to look at the image on Commons to check whether he is properly attributed. While the script is checking whether the user is a "bad author", the Ok-button is grayed out. If it is ready it changes the Ok button's state to normal. Are there still questions? No problem. Luke Ford Pictures

Hi Evalowyn,

The pictures of LukeFord are from April 19, 2007 and are allowed to upload. These pictures are not from 2011. BR Gohe007 (talk) 15:37, 26 November 2011 (UTC)

To elaborate further, there is a valid OTRS ticket for the Luke Ford images as mentioned in the license statement used at Template:CC-LukeFord. I know as I was the one who got the permissions in the first place. Tabercil (talk) 18:48, 26 November 2011 (UTC)
