¡Mira lo que hiciste!

Gracias a que pusiste esa plantilla de borrado rápido en las imágenes que yo subí de Ariana Grande, varias wikis las estaban usando en su plantilla de infobox, y ahora se quedaron sin imagen, en vez de haber consultado primero el borrado de las imágenes, le pusiste esa estúpida plantilla de coyvio, y no era necesaria, porque la fuente en Vimeo tenía la licencia correcta, sino mira la página en español de Wikipedia: Araiana Grande ya no tiene imagen ya se que borró, así que te pido por favor que hagas algo para restaurarla si puedes, o sino reemplaza esa imagen de Wikipedia en español por otra que esté disponible pero ya es ya!!! --The Salvator (talk) 17:44, 7 May 2019 (UTC)

Wiki Loves Monuments France 2019

Bonjour,

Le concours Wiki Loves Monuments France est de retour et ouvert jusqu'à 31 septembre ! Déjà 8309 photos ont été importés cette année, vous aussi rejoignez le concours !

Le concours concerne tous les monuments présents dans la base Mérimée (qu'ils soient classés, inscrits ou simplement classés). De l'imposant château aux ruines industrielles, de la chapelle au coin de la rue aux mégalithes en forêt, c'est un impressionnant patrimoine qui attend d'être photographié et documenté. Où que vous soyez il y a des monuments autour de chez vous. Enfin, vous pouvez mettre en ligne autant de photos que vous le souhaitez de ces monuments. Pour information, le règlement est disponible sur le site du concours. Nous attendons vos photos avec impatience !

Les plus belles photos seront sélectionnées par un jury national composé d'amateurs et de professionnels, de contributeurs à Wikimedia Commons et d'acteurs du patrimoine. Un jury international sélectionnera ensuite des meilleures photographies mondiales.

Si vous avez des questions, l'équipe organisatrice se fera un plaisir d'y répondre.

Important message for file movers

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

  • To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
  • To perform file name swaps.
  • When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

The malicious or reckless breaking of file links via the suppressredirect user right is considered an abuse of the file mover right and is grounds for immediate revocation of that right. This message serves as both a notice that you have this right and as an official warning. Ola, Elisardojm, e grazas por chamar a miña atención sobre o arquivo Renkontigho galega-portugala. Porén, estou algo perdido e agradecería a túa axuda para determinarmos se efectivamente o arquivo debe ser borrado. É unha postal escaneada. A postal foi editada en ocasión dun encontro entre esperantistas galegos e portugueses acontecido en Vigo en 1978. Posibelmente fose editada polo grupo esperantista vigués Paco kaj Amo, hoxe desaparecido, aínda que nada no postal así nolo indique. Que opinas?

O Fondo da Vila, Santa María Maior, Mondoñedo.jpg

Ola Elisardojm! O lugar fotografado no arquivo que ten este título non está na parroquia de Santa María Maior, senón na parroquia de Vilamor, tamén en Mondoñedo. Neste concello hai un lugar chamado "O Fondo da Vila" en Sta. María Maior, que non é visible dende a autovía, e un "Encima da Vila" na parroquia de Vilamor. A confusión é moi posible porque existe ademais un núcleo chamado "Fondo de Vila", sen a categoría oficial de lugar, moi pretiño dese "Encima da Vila" en Vilamor. O que se ve na imaxe é ese "Fondo de Vila", non recoñecido como lugar pero que si aparece así denominado en mapas como o do Instituto Geográfico Nacional. A foto está tomada dende 43°26'47.0"N 7°19'33.0"W e as casas que se ven nela están en 43°26'56.5"N 7°19'13.2"W. Non conforman un lugar en sentido administrativo. Dos seis lugares recoñecidos polo Nomenclátor da Xunta na parroquia de Vilamor, o máis cercano é Encima da Vila (43°26'49.8"N 7°19'18.8"W), que está fóra da imaxe, uns metros máis á dereita. Seguramente este "Fondo de Vila" da foto estea integrado nese Encima da Vila. (sen sinatura 15 de decembro de 2019 ás 20:27‎ Ogaiago)

Unfortunately, the new Nós TV website no longer shows the free license, but there are other videos uploaded whose licenses have already been reviewed in category Category:Nós Televisión videos. MGA73, I have found the archived main page of Nostelevision/Nós TV here. The archived date is 21-04-2020 and license is CC-BY-SA 3.0. Nostelevision use YouTube as a repository, but it's license was CC-BY-SA, at least until that date. Para que se puidesen subir a Commons tería que poñer "CC-BY-SA" (que quere dicir Creative Commons-Recoñecemento-Compartir Igual) ou "DP" (Dominio Público) e o nome do autor. Dear Elisardojm

You have recently proposed deleting a number of photos that I have uploaded from the British Museum's website on to Wikipedia

Hoowever, I have checked the BM website policy on this and wikipedians are permitted to use images from the British Museum website subject to their terms of use and as long as they are for non-commercial use

To quote "The British Museum wishes to encourage the dissemination and use of information about our collection and expertise that we publish on our website.

For this purpose, we increasingly intend to release content on our website under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0)(Opens in new window) licence.

See 're-use of images' for specific information around using images from the British Museum website

So as long as we attribute it to the British Museum and use it for non-commercial use it is fine.

Furthermore a number of other photos from the British Museum are already on Wikipedia that were uplaoded by other Wikipedians and have remained there - please can you explain the difference?

For example, see 'Deity Figure from Rarotonga' on English Wikipedia

Please can you reconsider this decision - an important issue is at stake here.

Hello Jononmac46, I have requested the deletion of those images because the source web page indicates that they have a CC-BY-SA-NC license. The matter is that Commons does not allow uploading photos that do not allow commercial use. But don't worry about the deletion proposals, they are only proposals, now they are in the hands of the administrators who will have to review them and decide if they really have to be deleted or not. Additionally, if you find a photo in Commons that belongs to the British Museum and has that license, what you should do is propose its deletion so that its license is not violated.
And about the English Wikipedia, that wiki use fair use, a restricted use of licenses, but that it's not allowed in Commons.

Plus que quelques jours pour participer à Wiki Loves Monuments France !

Bonjour,

Le concours Wiki Loves Monuments France est ouvert pour une semaine encore, jusqu'au 30 septembre. Déjà plus de 6 000 photos ont été importées cette année alors vous aussi rejoignez le concours ! Cette campagne de contribution concerne tous les monuments et objets mobiliers présents dans la base Mérimée et dans la base Palissy. De l'imposant château aux ruines industrielles, de la verrière décorative au reliquaire, c'est un impressionnant patrimoine qui attend d'être photographié et documenté. Vous pouvez dès à présent mettre en ligne autant de photos que vous le souhaitez de ces monuments et objets du patrimoine français. Nous attendons vos photos avec impatience !

Les plus belles photos seront sélectionnées par un jury national composé d'amateurs et de professionnels, de contributeurs à Wikimedia Commons et d'acteurs du patrimoine. Un jury international constituera ensuite une sélection des meilleures photographies mondiales.

Si vous avez des questions, l'équipe organisatrice se fera un plaisir d'y répondre.

Incomplete uploadings

Dear colleague,

at least two pictures made by you, File:Suarez Ferrin, A Coruña, Ramon Conde 3.jpg and File:Suarez Ferrin, A Coruña, Ramon Conde.jpg, are broken due to a certain problem at Commons. Now that problem is fixed. Could you reuploade these files? Otherwise they should be deleted because in their current form they cannot be used. Andrei Romanenko (talk) 21:23, 20 January 2022 (UTC)
