Se mi succede? Diciamo che da lavoro son tornato a caricare con l'upolad basic!! L'idea che mi sono fatto è che il java per caricare l'anteprima sia troppo pesante per molti computer, infatti mi si blocca sempre quando cerca di aggiornare le immagini durante la scelta della licenza... Un modo per ovviare e caricare l'antemprima cliccando lentamente un'immagine dopo l'altra mentre le carica (show thumbnail).. Ma poi mi dà un sacco di problemi, ad esempio prima se si bloccava mi veniva scritto "error: bad token", adesso invece si incanta, allunga il tempo all'infinito.. un upload che avevo lasciato caricare di notte si è bloccato (come accade spesso) e la mattina ho trovato che mancavanop solo 24 giorni per il termine dell'upload... ma poi potrei stare qui a ore a spiegarti errori e problemi... puoi provare a segnalare il problema al village pump, non al bar italiano, lì non serve a niente. --Sailko (talk) 10:11, 24 January 2016 (UTC)

@Sailko and Threecharlie: lo stesso problema si manifesta anche su PC con prestazioni elevate quindi escluderei interferenze del java... Stavo per scrivere due righe sul Village pump (dove ho anche fatto una discreta ricerca ma senza aver trovato niente in merito), ma forse quello non è il luogo più adatto. Dato che il problema secondo me è da addebitare ad un recente aggiornamento del software MW sarebbe magari più opportuno segnalarlo su Phabricator? --Discanto (talk) 18:11, 25 January 2016 (UTC)

Stessa identica cosa per me... dal computer di casa, che è un po' più potente, arrivo anche a 40.. 50 immagini mi si impalla comunque, non crasha, ma me ne carica metà a poi il conto del tempo di upload inizia a salire all'infinito. --Sailko (talk) 19:48, 2 March 2016 (UTC)

Re: ATR 365

Ciao, si tutto bene grazie, semplicemente in questo periodo sono più occupato del solito col lavoro (al mio impiego abituale ne sto temporaneamente affiancando un secondo) quindi spesso ho giusto il tempo per una controllatina e un po' di patrolling al volo. Poi come hai visto anche te con la riforma delle province c'è una mole di voci piuttosto importante da aggiornare legate alla nostra isola, quindi quando ho un po' di tempo sto dedicandolo soprattutto a sistemare quelle piuttosto che a treni, stazioni e altro.

Sul fronte degli ATR mi congratulo per le ottime foto che hai scattato, fotografare bene un treno in corsa non è affatto una cosa semplice! Sulla categorizzazione esisteva già Category:FS ATR 365, quindi le foto andrebbero spostate li insieme a quelle "statiche" che erano sinora presenti. Ci penso io!

Si ho notato per le stazioni, ti ringrazio per la fiducia :) , cerco semplicemente di applicare il principio dell'immagine a supporto del testo. Fermo restando che non ho l'esclusiva per questo genere di edit, quindi se e quando ti va di integrare le voci con le tue ottime foto liberissimo di farlo, ci mancherebbe! Per il resto ho visto un bel po' di tuoi edit legati alla riforma (ben fatto!) ma per coordinarci su quello meglio parlarne eventualmente su it.wiki come giustamente suggerisci ;). Strumento immagini

Ho visto la tua richiesta al bar di wiki (la vecchi discussione del 2015 sul tool di AlessioMela, WikiNeedsPictures). Spero di sentire Alessio il 5 agosto, credo (pensando positivo) che sia un effetto di ultimi update. Sta lavorando molto sulle innovazioni del tool ed era ora che le inserisse. Se mi permetti, ti contatto su wikidata e ti do altri strumenti non proprio equivalenti ma altrettanto utili. Lo sto facendo con decine di utenti per informarli dove andar nelle loro zone e non solo in vacanza a scattare foto, prima o poi l'avrei fatto anche con te. Tu sei pure molto attivo in Sardegna, non ho ancora trovato utenti che ci vivono disposti a mappar bene le immagini--Alexmar983 (talk) 08:07, 24 July 2016 (UTC)

Il tool di Alessio Mela è certamente utilissimo (oltre che graficamente eccellente!) e spero proprio che riesca a rimetterlo in sesto quanto prima. Spero anche che riesca ad ottenere un qualche sostegno perché merita. Per quanto riguarda strumenti simili utilizzo spesso Wiki ShootMe! ma altre eventuali proposte sono ovviamente ben accette e perciò anticipatamente ti ringrazio. Se usi Wikishootme hai già il sostituto migliore. Però wikishootme grossomodo rimpiazzava WNP anche se era pina di falsi positivi, posso fornirti strumenti che accelerano la rimozione di falsi positivi da wikishootme, rendendo meno dispersivo il suo utilizzo.--Alexmar983 (talk) 02:01, 25 July 2016 (UTC)

Prego, l'ho raccattato da una segnalazione al bar di itwikisource. La cosa che mi fa incavolare non è la dispersione, ma che sarebbe evitabile con delle campagne mirate. tipo prendo le migliaia di utenze attive che hanno caricato almeno X immagini o (ancora più specifico) nuove versioni di immagini, mando loro un mass message così lo sanno. Se non vogliono mass message lo segnalano e non lo invio una seconda volta. Davvero: non sarebbe possibile... e quindi finisco a fare puntata qua e là in talk su chi mi ricordo. Molti strumenti validissimi li ho scovati casualmente e non oso immaginare quanta bella roba ci sia in giro, sconosciuta ai più e soprattutto a coloro che a forza di fare azioni ripetitive "a mano" alla fine abbandonano per noia. Visto che passo e mi sembra che non ti dispiaccia essere importunato, ti segnalo che User:M.casanova sta sistemando molte voci in it:Categoria:Antiche_unità_di_misura_italiane_per_provincia e mi ha chiesto se c'è un modo di trovare foto degli antichi campioni pubblici, le lapidi esplicative poste presso i palazzi del governo o le pese pubbliche come questa.

So added the coordinates manually. As i understood you copied them from Wikimapia and pasted it into the location field of the UploadWizard, right? And you do not copy longitude and lattitude seperately but as one string, right? Maybe for some of your future uploads you can check whether this happens again and if so you could give me the detaills to reproduce it. Non è il caso di agitarsi. Se ti riferisci alla Chiesa di San Pietro-Pozzomaggiore(SS).jpg ho spostato le categorie dall'immagine alla categoria che ho creato per quella stessa immagine. Per il resto ho ripristinato le chiavi che avevo già impostato io: è evidente che una categoria (con pochi elementi) senza le sezioni alfabetiche è di più facile consultazione. --Discanto (talk) 08:44, 12 February 2017 (UTC)

Ah, an odd one. Sorry, not your fault, I have struck out the template. The file File:Photos.jpeg was overwritten by another user with a mobile phone screenshot (he obviously thought the name was more suited to his image). That was tagged for deletion as copyvio, but the notice goes back to the original uploader. User:Hystrix sorted it out, deleted the screenshot, and renamed the file File:Epipremnum aureum 2.jpg. Wiki Loves Monuments ti aspetta, con centinaia di nuovi comuni fotografabili

Concorso Wiki Loves Monuments Italia 2018 (English version)

Gentile Discanto, ti ringraziamo ancora una volta per la tua passata partecipazione a Wiki Loves Monuments (WLM). Il più grande concorso fotografico del mondo si svolge anche questo settembre per documentare e promuovere il patrimonio culturale italiano, con una licenza copyright libera.

Quest'anno è doppiamente facile partecipare: gli oggetti fotografabili coprono quasi 1000 comuni in più, grazie all'adesione di centinaia di nuovi enti fra cui Roma, e alla possibilità di fotografare circa 2000 alberi monumentali. Controlla le liste di monumenti fotografabili! Carica tutte le foto che hai e magari organizza una visita presso i monumenti che ancora non hanno una foto.

Quest'oggi il Parlamento europeo ha respinto la proposta di estendere la libertà di panorama. E allora scattiamo e pubblichiamo tutte le foto che possiamo, almeno per questi monumenti per cui ci è legalmente consentito!

Qui potete valutare quanto è stato liberato finora. Fra i nuovi beni già trascritti abbiamo proprietà da Aulla, Comano, Lucca, Careggine, Coreglia Antelminelli, San Miniato, Calcinaia, Cascina, Pontedera, Ponsacco, Capannoli, Pomarance, Prato, Carmignano, Poggio a Caiano, Cantagallo, Vernio, Sesto Fiorentino, Scarperia e San Piero, Rignano sull'Arno, San Godenzo, Barberino Tavernelle, Dicomano, Fucecchio, Castelnuovo Berardenga, Santa Fiora, Castell'Azzarra e nuove adesioni da Pescia e Piombino. Nuove liberatorie (probabilmente Massa, Carrara, Palaia, Vaiano, Scandicci, Palazzuolo sul Senio, Castel Focognano e Bucine) continueranno a arrivare nei prossimi giorni quindi ricontrolla sempre gli elenchi a cadenza regolare. Gentili fotografi, un ultimo aggiornamento in vista dei prossimi week end. Segnaliamo che dal primo settembre si sono aggiunti per WLM2019 nuovi beni a Pescia, Cascina, Careggine, Pomarance, Vinci e Castelfiorentino. Sono inoltre state trascritte delibere provenienti per la prima volta anche dai comuni di Massa, Carrara, Rufina, Follonica e San Vincenzo. Date un'occhiata perché non è escluso che arrivino ancora altre adesioni integrative all'ultimo minuto.

Important message for file movers

A community discussion has been closed where the consensus was to grant all file movers the suppressredirect user right. This will allow file movers to not leave behind a redirect when moving files and instead automatically have the original file name deleted. Policy never requires you to suppress the redirect, suppression of redirects is entirely optional.

Possible acceptable uses of this ability:

• To move recently uploaded files with an obvious error in the file name where that error would not be a reasonable redirect. For example: moving "Sheep in a tree.jpg" to "Squirrel in a tree.jpg" when the image does in fact depict a squirrel.
• To perform file name swaps.
• When the original file name contains vandalism. (File renaming criterion #5)

Please note, this ability should be used only in certain circumstances and only if you are absolutely sure that it is not going to break the display of the file on any project. Redirects should never be suppressed if the file is in use on any project. When in doubt, leave a redirect. If you forget to suppress the redirect in case of file name vandalism or you are not fully certain if the original file name is actually vandalism, leave a redirect and tag the redirect for speedy deletion per G2.

Ciao, un messaggio da alcune utenze del gruppo locale Toscana Stiamo organizzando Wiki Loves Monuments per il 2020. Il concorso si tiene a settembre ma ci muoviamo con anticipo. Purtroppo non all'inizio della primavera come altri anni a causa dell'emergenza COVID-19, ma abbiamo iniziato a fine maggio dopo una pausa di due mesi. Puoi consultare in questa pagina il lavoro in corso. Ci sono monumenti (o intere amministrazioni) che mancano vicino alla tua zona di interesse? Fallo presente e vedremo di fare il possibile! Wiki Loves Monuments 2020 in Toscana sta per iniziare

Ciao, un messaggio da alcune utenze del gruppo locale Toscana Continua la preparazione di Wiki Loves Monuments per il 2020. Manca una settimana alla partenza e per chi fosse già in giro ricordiamo le nuove località aderenti, già riportate nelle nostre liste in costante aggiornamento. Nel 2020 hanno completato l'iter di ampliamento le amministrazioni di Cascina, Pomarance, Pescia, Empoli, San Quirico d'Orcia, Chiusi, Santa Fiora e Piombino, mentre hanno aderito per la prima volta a tempo indefinito il Museo delle Aviotruppe di Pisa e i comuni di Pescaglia, Gallicano, Camaiore, Santa Croce sull'Arno, Casale Marittimo, Quarrata, Montelupo Fiorentino, Buonconvento, Pratovecchio Stia, Sansepolcro, Castiglion Fiorentino, Anghiari, Badia Tedalda e Campiglia Marittima. Ci sono anche adesioni solo per il 2020 di alcune dimore storiche attorno a Pisa. Risultano al momento richieste formali o informali di partecipazione o ampliamento della copertura da un'altra ventina di enti e amministrazioni, alcune delle quali potrebbero concretizzarsi nelle prossime due settimane. Fate attenzione che alcune delle adesioni solo per l'edizione 2019 nel nord della provincia di Prato e del comune di Massa non saranno probabilmente confermate, ma non sono ancora state rimosse dalle liste. Qui il video promozionale del 2019 e qui quello della nuova edizione. Il prossimo aggiornamento riporterà i volantini in più lingue e gli ultimi sviluppi sulle adesioni. Wiki Loves Monuments 2020 in Toscana è in corso

Ciao, un messaggio da alcune utenze del gruppo locale Toscana Gazie alla preparazione e al vostro impegno, WLM è un successo in regione anche per questa edizione. Siamo stabilmente primi per caricamenti a livello nazionale: qui potete vedere alcune statistiche. Al momento risultano più reattive le province di Livorno, Siena, Pisa, Prato e Firenze. Fra i nuovi beni aderenti confermati, e inseriti nelle liste, segnaliamo i comuni di Castel del Piano, Montignoso e la Domus Mazziniana di Pisa. Ci sono nuovi beni anche dal comune di Santa Fiora. Sono comunque in corso le verifiche sulla proprietà di alcuni edifici religiosi. C'è invece un aggiornamento nella lista di San Vincenzo, che aveva autorizzato annualmente nel 2019 e ha ridotto i beni aderenti. Per quanto riguarda le foto panoramiche, vengono smistate direttamente nelle categorie dei comuni e richiedono maggiore manutenzione, quindi vi preghiamo se possibile la cortesia di posticipare il loro caricamento a fine mese quando avremo più tempo di occuparcene. La campagna sociale in concerto su tutti e tre i canali (per Facebook la pagina Wiki Loves Toscana) prevede ogni quattro giorni una serie divulgativa sulle foto delle edizioni precedenti in bianco e nero (caricate progressivamente qui su Commons) alternata a una serie sulle foto migliori dell'edizione in corso. Ogni giorno nel tardo pomeriggio o prima serata solo su Twitter e Facebook (gruppo ToscanaWiki) viene inoltre postata una foto fra quelle giunte predligendo varibailità di luogo e tema. Ciao Discanto! Temo che hai scambiato San Pietro con Santa Maria degli Angeli. Della seconda (quella gialla) ho fotografato il cartello fuori con la pianta e il nome della chiesa. Della prima non sono sicuro al 100%, comunque credo sia quella rosa. Puoi controllare anche tu comunque? Se c'è effettivamente l'errore puoi cercare di rinominare i files piano piano? Wiki Loves Monuments 2021 in Toscana è in corso

Ciao, un messaggio da alcune utenze del gruppo locale Toscana Gazie alla preparazione e al vostro impegno, WLM è un buon successo in regione anche per questa edizione. Siamo stabilmente secondi per caricamenti a livello nazionale: qui e qui si possono consultare alcune statistiche. Al momento risultano meno reattive le province di Prato e di Grosseto. Fra i nuovi beni inseriti nelle liste segnaliamo da parte dei comuni sempre più ampliamenti rispetto alle nuove adesioni, mentre continuano ad aggiungersi sempre più beni privati. Tutte le liberatorie annunciate da quest'anno anche su Instagram sono da ritenersi verificate. Potrebbero arrivare comuni a fine mese al momento ancora in via di approvazione. Per quanto riguarda le foto panoramiche, vengono inviate direttamente nelle categorie dei comuni e richiedono spesso la creazione di varie sottocategorie; per questo motivo vi preghiamo di non inviare troppe foto simili, dovendole in seguito smistare a mano. La campagna sui tre canali sociali (per Facebook sia pagina che gruppo) prevede come nel 2020 una serie divulgativa con le foto delle edizioni precedenti in bianco e nero (caricate qui su Commons) alternata a una serie sulle foto migliori dell'edizione 2021, inframmezzate con più infografiche generali. Ogni giorno solo su Twitter e Facebook (gruppo ToscanaWiki) viene inoltre postata una foto fra quelle giunte prediligendo variabilità di luogo e tema. Wiki Loves Monuments 2022 in Toscana

Ciao, un messaggio da alcune utenze del gruppo locale Toscana L'edizione 2022 di Wiki Loves Monuments ha concluso giorni fa il suo processo selettivo. Quest'anno non abbiamo segnalato in corso d'opera perché abbiamo avuto delle metriche di adesione molto più alte rispetto agli ultimi anni, quindi incentivare il caricamento sarebbe stato controproducente per i partecipanti più occasionali. Probabilmente il prossimo anno ci sarà un calo fisiologico, e conviene pertanto preparare i vostri scatti per il 2023. I semifinalisti, come ogni edizione, sono invitati alla cerimonia di premiazione che quest'anno si terrà nel tardo pomeriggio di sabato 28 gennaio p.v. a Montespertoli (FI) presso il Museo della Vite e del Vino. Qui i risultati finali, che saranno annunciati a breve sui canali sociali. Wiki Loves Monuments 2023 in Toscana

Ciao, un messaggio da alcune utenze del gruppo locale Toscana L'edizione 2023 di Wiki Loves Monuments si è conclusa. Lo scorso anno non avevamo segnalato l'inizio del concorso perché abbiamo avuto delle metriche di adesione più alte rispetto agli ultimi anni, quindi incentivare il caricamento sarebbe stato controproducente per i partecipanti più occasionali. Anche quest'anno l'adesione è stata alta (anzi nettamente più alta), probabilmente perché c'erano molte foto di chiese (la novità di quest'anno) negli archivi dei partecipanti storici e per questo non è stato inviato un messaggio durante settembre, mantenendo la strategia di massimizzare la promozione durante gli anni di minore partecipazione. I finalisti son stati nel frattempo selezionati e annunciati. Qui troverete il riepiligo con i vincitori. Continuate a seguire i nostri canali social per ulteriori informazioni riguardanti la cerimonia di premiazione, che avrà luogo a Piombino nei prossimi mesi.
