Hellenic Parliament[edit]

Hello, I think you need to make an update on our Parliament. I have made an image in which: Victory party agrees in more with ND than Hellenic Solution, also better classification of Course of Freedom, Ind. ex-Course, and New Left. But I cannot upgrade it, it says I need to ask for request. - About the party colours, I need to tell you, your changes are incorrect. Party colours are about their logos, or the way they are represented (for example at the left-wing parties, red is associated with KKE so the other parties cannot be represented with red, and we see SYRIZA with pink or grey-red and now I see the New Left mostly represented with brown). Greek Rebel (talk) 10:57, 10 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Greek Rebel:
  1. The order in which parties appear is based on their ideology. NIKI is quite more right wing than Greek Solution in their ideology. And of course Spartans as basically a neonazi party goes all the way to the right. New Left is obviously more left than Syriza and CoF based on their ideology is more left than New Left. KKE as a marxist-leninist party goes all the way to the left.
  2. Colors are based on their logos and/or their colors on their website or https://ekloges.ypes.gr. KKE (00 #E30101) does not use the same color as New Left (00 #EC4449). In both cases, the color from their logo is used. New Left does not have a website yet nor it's shown at https://ekloges.ypes.gr. So I cannot find your claim of a brown color used for them.

@Dimsar01: According ypex, greek solution should be in dark blue. New left is represented in brown in some channels and in vouliwatch. I assume a) because of the combination of red and purple and b) to be different than SYRIZA and KKE. That colour you provided is too close to SYRIZA. Anyway, ypex is a good solution. But the point is something else. The parties at the left are placed awful. I have fixed it.
PS: I think Niki is softer than Hellenic Solution, but ok it's not something important. Greek Rebel (talk) 21:55, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Greek Rebel: Yeah, I know that about the Greek Solution color. It's not ideal though as it may be very well confused with the New Democracy color. That's why I changed it to the slightly lighter blue they use on their website. Generally, the Ypes website is the more accurate source but sometimes their color choices are odd. Like, it uses a very light green for Pasok instead of a darker one which doesn't make much sense.
So I think we should leave the New Left color as it is now and check again after the European elections in May to see what color Ypes will use.
Now about the placement, yes if you mean for instance, how the two CoF independents are not together, I guess you can blame the parliament diagram tool for that. It's not ideal indeed but it's much better and faster than manually filling the circles every time there's a change or an election. Can you upload your version to a hosting website like we transfer so that I can take a look? Dimsar01 (talk) 22:50, 11 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Dimsar01: Give me all the party colours and I remake it. Greek Rebel (talk) 20:09, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dimsar01 (talk) 20:44, 12 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Dimsar01: Well, I made it. I just made one little darker New Left in order to be a bit more different than SYRIZA. I put the 6 members of PE together, while the 11 New Left MPs are also together at the behind part. Also, I made something really good I think, at the right. I put Niki MPs and Solution MPs at the same side of the spectrum, the Solution at the front and the Niki at the behind. Could you give me permission to upload it? Greek Rebel (talk) 19:52, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Greek Rebel: You're triggering some abuse filter, I don't know why and I certainly can't do something about it. I suggest you upload it here for now: File:Current Greece Parliament New.svg Dimsar01 (talk) 22:13, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Dimsar01: I did it, hope you approve it! Greek Rebel (talk) 22:43, 13 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Done, I made some modifications so that New Left is separated from KKE by CoF. Also sorry for thanking you with the wrong username on the changes section... Btw, please add this template to File:Current Greece Parliament New.svg: {{SD|G7}}. And remove the one at the top which was added by a bot. That is to delete that file as it's not needed anymore Dimsar01 (talk) 04:37, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I did it. Thanks! Greek Rebel (talk) 10:53, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hellenic Parliament 2[edit]

@Dimsar: Hello! Charis Katsivardas is an independent and not in Spartans. I made a new version with him as independent: . Could you upload it at Hellenic Parliament? Of course I made some other changes for better display (put small parties on the left to order, put Solution and Victory at the same spectrum because non of them is rightier or leftier than the other, also New Left is represented with their second color teal to avoid same colour with KKE and SYRIZA).
