Please sign your name on Talk pages by typing ~~~~. To link to an image page without embedding the image, type: [[:File:Foo.jpg]], which produces: File:Foo.jpg. You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Tag it as {{speedy|reason here}}. For more information read the deletion guidelines.

Obligatory cat image

I see that you joined WMF as legal counsel in February, but you have yet to receive a real welcome from Commons, which is strange since you seem to be highly focused on copyrights and licenses, and that is like the only thing we do here (that, and cute cat images). Prado Museum

hi, and welcome to my world. i'm the one who gets to apologize to the GLAM when their images get deleted. by asking questions at VP, you stir up the same old ideological purity. in effect, to get work done, we have to hack the culture of wikicommons and institutions to get the win-win solutions done. this culture here is about as bad as author's guild.

here's a questions for you - if the Prado issued a DMCA takedown based on Spanish law right to the high resolution scan, would we contest? see also Commons:Office_actions/DMCA_notices/2014#Hermann_Herzog.
