Categories[edit]

Hi there,

Thanks for creating Category:Wipeout (roller coaster). I've made this a subcategory of Category:Roller coasters in the United Kingdom.

When you create a new category, it's generally a good idea to place it within the existing category structure. (Note also that files that are included in a child category *don't* need to be included in the parent category).

If you need any more advice, please see Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to ask for help via the usual channels. Hope this helps, Ubcule (talk) 19:09, 8 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks @Ubcule. I am more active on Wikipedia so I am still learning about Commons. Thanks for the advice. --CNMall41 (talk) 22:59, 9 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. All the best, Ubcule (talk) 20:32, 10 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Mark Gillespie image[edit]

Thank you for helping me with the Mark Gellspie Rolling Stone photo. You marked it as copyright protected from IMDb. It was originally submitted to rolling stone magazine and has been used across various publications, imdb being one of the later ones. May you instruct me as to how to get it approved for use on the Wikipedia page? Bouncecouncil (talk) 00:36, 4 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Notification about possible deletion[edit]

Some contents have been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether they should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at their entry.

If you created these pages, please note that the fact that they have been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with them, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!
