Re: File:Wheel of the Year.svg

Sure, I can edit the date. I should manage to do it today. SMiki55 (talk) 09:02, 2 January 2021 (UTC)

Thank you for the response. I hadn't noticed your reply because I was looking on the Talk pages where I had left messages. I will acknowledge your response on those pages so that other editors don't try to fulfill a completed request. — Christopher, Sheridan, OR (talk) 18:38, 2 January 2021 (UTC)
Sorry for the delay. The day is corrected now. SMiki55 (talk) 15:03, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Userbox:User changed username

This user has changed the username of this account. It used to be DeNoel.

Example (left) is from Wikipedia. For Wikimedia Commons, Wikipedia:Changing username should be replaced with Commons:Changing username.

Hello. As you may be aware, many templates are not mirrored across WikiProject sites. I've become aware that Template:User changed username exists on Wikipedia, but not on Wikimedia Commons despite the traffic between sites. However, when Template:User changed username is substituted, I noticed that it uses the relevant parameters of Template:Userbox found here on Commons. With that knowledge, I've already copied said template from my Wikipedia Talk page to my Commons Talk page. I would like to suggest the creation of Template:User changed username here on Wikimedia Commons. I lack the experience to create the suggested userbox myself, not having created one before. — CJDOS, Sheridan, OR, USA (talk) 10:13, 31 May 2021 (UTC)

Update: I see that User:Zhuyifei1999 has done something similar with Template:Busy, making a userbox version found at User:Zhuyifei1999/User busy. I could copy the source code directly, placing the relevant coding on my page, but how would I go about making the userbox into a proper template, with helpful documentation, available to the entire Commons community (giving up any possession in the process to Wikimedia Commons)? I don't want to own the template, I just want it available for all. — CJDOS, Sheridan, OR, USA (talk) 20:08, 31 May 2021 (UTC)
You can just copy it, putting a permalink to the source in the Edit Summary. See this link for an example. Then do the same thing with the doc and modify for Commons if necessary. Note, we don't have the LUA modules enwiki has, so you may want to preview a lot or look for non-LUA wikitext in source histories. You may also want to look at how I handle archives and searches of them on my user talk page, but don't take month words as an example (I don't like how they sort).   — Jeff G. please ping or talk to me 22:24, 2 June 2021 (UTC)
