Using "On a crowded Muni bus 1" on my blog

Hi, BrokenSphere. I've used your photo http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:On_crowded_Muni_bus_1.JPG on my blog, sermonsinstones.com. Please advise if there is any problem. Thank you! Amy — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.36.140.204 (talk • contribs) 23:35, January 21, 2012‎ (UTC)

File:Sumatran tiger at SF Zoo 2.JPG has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues.

Please remember to respond to and – if appropriate – contradict the arguments supporting deletion. Arguments which focus on the nominator will not affect the result of the nomination. Thank you!

I used your image: "Hungry cardboard sign" (File:Hungry_cardboard_sign_by_Benjimin_&_Deborah_SF.JPG)

Hi there,

I wanted to let you know that I used your image, "Hungry cardboard sign," in this blog post. I reduced it to a smaller size, but it's otherwise unchanged. It's properly attributed and links back to that image's Wikmedia page, but if you'd like me to take it down for any reason, please let me know and I'll do so immediately.

Best regards, Lisa

Permission to use image on an online report

Hello,

I am a student and I am doing a report on Urban Alleys. My class requires me to post this report online at the Museum of the City - http://www.museumofthecity.org/. I would like permission to use this image in one of my pages as it best summarizes the San Francisco Chinatown area.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Chinatown_Alleyway_2000_plaque,_Waverly_Place,_SF.JPG

I intend to fully credit you and provide a link if you want. Also I can send you a link of the finished report if you want.

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

I would like to use your image on a book cover:

"Early 18th dynasty coffin REM RC 1678 2.JPG"

Can you write to me directly and tell me whether this is possible? We can offer you a fee although the art budget is small.

THANKS!

Hi,

You've previously agreed to let me use some of your photos for Trekkel.com. It's taken far longer than I'd thought to launch the site, but I'm hoping now to launch within a couple of months, and I'd like to use that photo, too.

Thanks!

Using your images

Dear BrokenSphere,

I am writing you on behalf of a German newspaper. We would like to print one of your images of the Lending Club. Would that be possible? Unfortunately, I cannot leave my company e-mail-address here. Is there a way to contact you via e-mail? The e-mail-link from you user-website doesn't work.

Thanks a lot.

Best,

Angela Neumann

No problem with the attribution as stated. link to site: jilsgallery.com/E You may reply to this on that page if you like.

Thank you.

15-inch Dahlgren gun in Hong Kong

I'm writing the article on the Catawba and am wondering if the Museum has labelled the gun as coming from Catawba? I can't read the placard on the mount to see what it says and if I can't source that statement, I'll have to delete it.--Sturmvogel 66 (talk) 06:41, 27 April 2013 (UTC)

Permission to use file Trojans in huddle at USC at Cal 2009-10-03

Hi

I work for a charity in Canada that is putting together free educational resources for schools to increase awareness of disability, accessibility and inclusion. The materials include interesting facts, and in particular that the football huddle was invented by Gallaudet University, which has a very high proportion of deaf students, to hide their hand signals from the opposition. We would really like to use your photo (Trojans in huddle at USC at Cal 2009-10-03) to illustrate this (the materials are aimed at very young students who need visual materials as well as text). Your photo would be included in a handout that teachers could use as part of the activity. Our resources are made available to schools in hard copy and online. We would of course fully attribute the photo.

Please could you let me know whether you would be happy for us to do this, or if you have any questions? I believe that this use would fall within the terms of the licence, but want to check with you to make sure you don't mind. My email is eholender at rickhansen.com

Thank you very much Ewa

Permission to Use Photo for nonprofit and edicational video

Hello,

I would like to request your permission in using this photo: http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Justin_Herman_Plaza_from_Steuart_Tower.JPG for a current project.

I am creating a non-profit and educational video on landscape architecture in Vancouver, Canada. One of the projects in this video (a skateboard park in Vancouver) was influenced by skate board friendly cities (like San Francisco, Barcelona, etc.) I was hoping I could use the above photo of Justin Herman Plaza for only about 3 seconds in my video. I will credit you as the photographer.

Please let me know if I can use this photo for my educational and non-profit project. Thank you.

Statement from Chase Masterson

Statement from Chase Masterson - "Hello, I am writing to respectfully ask you to remove these photos from wikipedia, due to the fact that they are unnecessarily unflattering, candid shots and no longer depict my look or image. I've suffered unnecessary hardships in my career and am working hard to recoup opportunity, but these photos could be an unnecessary obstacle. I would so greatly appreciate your removing them, so as to depict an accurate and current image of me." — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lemotsmith (talk • contribs)
