Deletion request[edit]

Hi, there are some mistakes in the number of arrows in your image Image:Integral as region under curve.png, which is why I applied for a deletion of it. However, could you do it again, but with only two arrows (on on the x- and one on the y-axis)? --DaTroll 15:26, 1 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I corrected the image. --Warden 08:01, 2 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Please upload similar images in SVG format if you have such possibility. --EugeneZelenko 01:21, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

I have created an SVG version of Image:Vector normalization.png. The image is displayed fine by MediaWiki's thumbnail generator and by the Adobe SVG Viewer plugin, but not by Firefox 1.5b or Adobe Illustrator. Can you tell whether there's something wrong with the file, or merely with these programs? If there are no problems, I'll upload the rest of the files. Cheers, bdesham 03:54, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]
I think good idea to discuss this issue in Commons:Village pump. Sorry, I'm not specialist in graphics, but as administrator could tell that original file in vector format is better then its rendered version :-) --EugeneZelenko 14:18, 22 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Hi.

This is very cool :)). Just one issue - it's a common error to stick forks in this problem ;). It makes far more sens if they would have to eat with en:chopsticks.

Image deletion warning Image:Sign of the Deathly Hallows.svg has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.

If you created this image, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. If the file is up for deletion because it has been superseded by a superior derivative of your work, consider the notion that although the file may be deleted, your hard work (which we all greatly appreciate) lives on in the new file.
In all cases, please do not take the deletion request personally. It is never intended as such. Thank you!

See Commons talk:Geocoding. Because your meta-template has all-standard internals it should be trivial enough to subst it. If you don't disapprove, I can just go mass subst all current uses of it. --Gmaxwell 15:45, 30 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I received your email, but I think that those restrictions are independent of its copyright status. I have asked on Commons talk:Licensing. -- Bryan (talk to me) 14:17, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Tango Icons[edit]

If you want to keep your icons separate, then go head. Your icons definitely fit in the Tango Project style guidelines, so I see no reason to keep them separate. The rest of us have been expanding the Tango project. None of the Tango icons in that category are originals.

I subst: to edit the info. Rocket000 15:31, 7 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

svg with lilypond[edit]

Hi Bdesham,

how can I get lilypond to output in svg format? Please, give me a command line example. Best regards --Peu 20:02, 19 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,

On OTRS, the author of this picture said "I agree to release the photo under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license." without any precision. So I think that this picture is release under cc-by-sa-2.0 (like on Flickr).

Paternoster Square Picture[edit]

Hello Bdesham! About your picture Image:Paternoster Square from St. Paul's Cathedral.jpg and the "perspective lines of the buildings": I just meant that the vertical lines are now converging to a point somewhere under the lower edge of the picture, and that by editing the picture these lines can become parallels. If you are using a PC (unfortunately, it doesn't work on Mac), please download a simple free programme called "ShiftN" for automatic correction of converging lines (www.marcus-hebel.de or www.shiftn.de) and try it out on your picture: you will be amazed...
