Bilder umbenennen[edit]

Hallo Gunnar, danke für das umbenennen deiner Bilder mit unpassendem Namen. Ich habe eine Bitte: Es wäre hilfreich, wenn du nach dem hochladen des neuen Bildes die Nutzung des alten überprüfen und ggf. die links in den Commons-Galerien und den Wikipedia-Seiten anpassen könntest (zum Beispiel ist Image:100 2102.JPG in Ortler eingebunden). Nicht hudeln! Wird schlicht um schlicht erledigt, kann aber immer eine Weile dauern. Das gilt für die Umbenennung der restlichen Bilder auch.

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations").

copyright Problem Museumsfotos[edit]

Hallo Gunnar, danke dass Du so tolle Fotos für Wikipedia bereitstellst. Leider muss ich Dir sagen, dass innerhalb von Museen aufgenommene Bilder in Deutschland im Allgemeinen nicht frei verwendbar sind, sondern nur für "private Zwecke". Das gilt vor allem dann, wenn ein entsprechendes Schild am Eingang steht. Dies ist im Museum für Naturkunde Berlin der Fall, uns zwar schon so lange ich denken kann. Daher meine Bitte: kontaktiere die doch mal (Frau Steiner; [[4]], und frage nach, ob die Bilder verwendet werden dürfen. Sonst müssen sie leider raus.... Betroffen sind: [[5]] [[6]]

die von HMallison erwähnten Ansprüche werden von unseren Copyright-Experten überwiegend bestritten, weshalb du in Anbetracht der momentan laufenden Diskussion dazu eher keine cv-speedies darauf setzen solltest (sie werden einfach revertiert). Ich war bisher auch davon ausgegangen, dass dies unproblematisch ist. Und bislang hat es auch keine Probleme damit gegeben. Persönlöich halte ich es auch durchaus für Werbung, für die betreffenden Institutionen. Aber ich bin eben kein Rechtsexperte. HMAllisons Einwand hatte mich schlicht aufgeschrekt. Das Museum hüllt selber hüllt sich dazu in Schweigen und ich wollte schlicht Probleme für alle Beteiligten vermeiden. ganz ruhig - keiner redet von Klagen oder Schadenersatzansprüchen oder so. Laßt bitte die PFerde im Stall! Es besteht - so ich recht habe - u.a. die Möglichkeit, dass das Museum die Bilder nachträglich mit seinem Logo so versieht, dass eine kommerzielle Nutzung uninteressant wird, und dann einer Wikinutzung zustimmt.
