ПСЗРИ

(Спасибо за изменение прав) Воспользовался, как видите, новой возможностью в визарде загрузок загружать файлы до 1 ГБ. Работать на wikisource с одним индексом, а не с кусочными более правильно... Но на самом деле с большими файлами есть такая проблема: нужно, скажем, загрузить новую версию скана, с новым OCR слоем, оставив в истории оригинальный файл. Такой подход описан в справке commons и приветствуется, чтобы файлы с разными несущественными правками (такими как уменьшение шума для картинок или улучшение OCR слоя для сканов) не засоряли категории... Однако оказалось, что визард не умеет загружать новые версии уже имеющихся файлов, это можно сделать только старым интерфейсом. А старый интерфейс -- позволяет загружать только файлы не больше старого ограничения в 100 МБ. Итого, как говориться, I'm completely stuck... Как раз хотел написать это в хелпдеске, но может вы лучше знаете, как передать это администраторам и тем, кто может принимать подобные решения, как починить такую ситуацию... Причем, я пробовал использовать в старом интерфейсе галку "игнорировать предупреждения" -- загрузка начинается, но соединение всякий раз сбрасывается... Причем я увеличил сетевые таймауты в настройках браузера -- то же самое, т.е. сброс соединения происходит на стороне сервера, т.е. галка "игнорировать предупреждения" не помогает. Итого, я вижу, что 1) либо в старом интерфейсе загрузки, если он используется для загрузки именно новой версии большого файла, поднять ограничение, либо 2) сделать это для некоторых типов файлов, например pdf- и djvu-сканов, для которых ограничение в 100 МБ все-таки маловато по современным меркам, либо 3) решить проблему организационными мерами. Например, если пользователи с соотв. правами умеют помещать уже загруженный файл с другим именем как новую версию другого, ранее загруженного, то можно сделать спец. служебную категорию, помещая куда такие файлы, будут создаваться запросы на такие действия. Так что зря вы удалили "кусочные" файлы, т.к. с новыми большими -- вот такая вот беда... Hinote (talk) 03:54, 12 January 2014 (UTC)

P.S.: только что нашел вот это: bigChunkedUpload.js. Не знаю, как будет работать, но эту проблему все равно надо решать -- чем больше людей будет пользоваться chuncked upload -- тем больше будет таких ситуаций, как у меня, как я описал... Спасибо за ссылки, я правда обошелся прекрасно скриптом по приведенной мной ссылке -- в его работе есть недочет, но новые версии больших файлов загрузились и контрольные суммы совпали. Так что решения есть. Проблема в том, что у меня заняло 2 дня найти это решение, и ваши ссылки я не заметил. Точнее не понял, что они в этом случае подходят. Вот ни разу не понятно при беглом прочтении, что Server-side upload нужно (можно) использовать для решения этой проблемы с аплоадом больших новых версий. Так что надо (администраторам, тем, кто имеет права на исправление этих защищенных или критических страниц) править описание интерфейса формы аплоада новых версий с тем, чтобы там были ссылки на решения для больших файлов. Да, с OCR-слоем сначала не загружаю сознательно -- чтобы в истории был оригинальный немодифицированный файл, указанный в ссылке в поле источник. Этот подход описан и приветствуется, насколько я понял. Мало ли для кого и для чего потребуется именно оригинальный файл. А по ссылке он может перестать быть доступен. Плюс, впоследствии может все-равно потребоваться загрузить новые версии с улучшенным OCR-слоем. Hinote (talk) 19:22, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

Вітаю. На початку шаблону в українських налаштуваннях: См. также категорію, замість Див. також категорію. Не знаєш як виправити і який грамотей перекладав? І друге питання, чи можна ботом перейменувати категорію Zolochiv Raion на Zolochiv Raion of Lviv Oblast і відповідно всі підкатегорії з уточненням щоб були--Kamelot (talk) 18:37, 13 January 2014 (UTC)

Справа в тому, що з {{Information}} працюють багато ботів, які замінюють нелокалізовані тексти на локалізовані шаблони. Зокрема, ті, що зазначені на Commons:File description page regular expressions.
