Your VFC installation method is deprecated

Hello Ahecht, we are aware that using the old installation method of VFC (via common.js, which you are using) may not work reliably anymore and can break other scripts as well. A detailed explanation can be found here. Important: To prevent problems please remove the old VFC installation code from your common.js and instead enable the VFC gadget in your preferences. @E4024: While I don't think that that image is the best way to present the data (it verges on unreadable), I'm satisfied from a copyright standpoint. I had been working with that uploader to try to help them understand the Commons licensing requirements, and used that image of theirs to demonstrate what is needed (the source image is clearly specified, when you go to the source image it has a valid free license, and their is no attempt to claim just "own work" and try to relicense under CC based on their added text and color tweaks). However, as I said, I think that we as a project can do better in presenting that information. --Ahecht (TALK

Could you be ever so kind as to create a new version of File:Pliers with yellow handles.svg, except rotated at 45 degrees like it is in File:Wikipedia Interface administrator.svg? I would do it myself but I don't think I have the necessary software and/or skills ;) I'm looking for a more "cross-wiki" logo for Interface Administrator. New navboxes

Hi,

I see you did a lot of good work on {{Photographs taken on navbox}}; please could you apply similar navigation code to {{Photographs taken on MM-DD navbox}} and {{Photographs taken in MM navbox}}? Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 19:49, 1 June 2022 (UTC)

@Pigsonthewing: I made {{Photographs taken on MM-DD navbox}} match {{Photographs taken on navbox}}, but I don't really see a need to have forward and backward buttons on {{Photographs taken in MM navbox}} since there are only 12 categories and they're all already visible on the navbar. I did make it so that both will automatically detect the date for the category they're in, so there's no need to specify any parameters. Ahecht (TALK
