Souvenir of the destruction of a Zeppelin by an Royal Flying Corps pilot, 3 Sep 1916 Printed on tissue paper, with watercolour design, this souvenir commemorates an RAF pilot shooting down a German Zeppelin airship Text: Souvenir in Commemoration of Lieutenant W. L Robinson's Great Feat of Destroying a Zeppelin Sunday, sept. 3rd 1916 "His greatest reward the Heartfelt Thanks of every Woman and Child in England" His Majestry the King has been graciously pleased to award the Victoria Cross to Lieut. William Leefe Robinson, Worcester Regt. and R.F.C, for most conspicuous bravery. He attacked an enemy airship under circumstances of great difficulty and danger, and sent it creashing to the ground a flaming wreck. Printed on tissue paper, with watercolour design, this souvenir commemorates an attack by German Gotha bombers on the East End of London Text: Souvenir In Loving Memory of the Men Women and Children killed in the London Air Raid on Wednesday ,June 13th, 1917 Killed - 104. Seriously injured - 154. Slightly injured - 269. Total-527.
