- On Commons, this usually refers to the noncommercial condition of a Creative Commons license which stipulates that licensees may copy, distribute, display, and perform the work and make derivative works based on it only for noncommercial purposes. Media files on Commons must allow commercial reuse, so a noncommercial license condition makes a file unsuitable for Commons. See Commons:Licensing.
