Half Chinese, half jew, very Brazilian.

I starter working with stage design, light design and photography at CPT/SESC coordinated by director Antunes Filho, then at the Teatro da Vertigem and at the Cia Livre.

In a natural evolution, Cinema emerged and a perfect path mixing these two passions: telling a story (theater) though a camera (photography).

Nowadays I am a cinematographer (video), assistant camera (cinema) and, as always, a still photographer. Since the art of writing with lights is just the same, I also make some light designs for theatre plays.

I also maintain a personal project with my wife, actress Renata Jesion, called Teatro Para Alguém. We apply the principles of Digital Culture in the stage, creating a hybrid language somewhere between Theatre and Audiovisual. We make theatrical plays and stream them live through Internet, for free.
