Sharing things you've made on Commons is very simple. [Say something else encouraging here!]



Whole thing needs prettification, I am thinking LARGE ICONS style.

Your own photos, illustrations and movies and other works are automatically protected by copyright when you create them. Copyright and its related rights allow you the exclusive right to:

  • Copy your work
  • Be credited for your work
  • Freely distribute your work

The advantages of a free license

Copyright can restrict the free flow of works which are intended to be shared, and [some other pinko rubbish about free culture goes here]

When you upload your work to Commons you are donating it to the world by using a free content license which allow everyone to use, modify, and redistribute your work for any purpose. Although you retain the copyright to your work, all works submitted to Commons must have at least these freedoms.
