Usage

Use this template to add a reference to a taxon on the web site uBio without knowing the taxon id on uBio.

Note: If you know the taxon id, please use {{UBio}}

Note: This template can be used in conjunction with {{Taxoconflict}}, {{Taxa}}, {{Genera}}, {{Genera2}}, {{Species}}, {{Species2}} and {{Subspecies}} with parameter "source=uBio" (See here the different values for source)

Syntax

{{uBio search | taxonName | taxonDisplayName | validity }}

Parameters

• taxonName

the scientific name of the taxon.

Sample (for Homo sapiens): Homo sapiens

• taxonDisplayName

The name of the taxon with its author (don't forget italic for genus and species)

Sample (for Homo sapiens): ''Homo sapiens'' Linnaeus, 1758

• validity (optional)

If the taxon is considered as unaccepted or synonym by uBio, add nv.

Sample (for Homo sapiens): nv
