This template helps identify which coat of arms emblazonments are original work, and not reuploads of copyrighted, official material. Any official material should be covered by clear copyright explanations if permitted, however most is portrayed as the users own work, making it harder to identify which ones have been checked to be permissible.

Attention

• This template is only for works which have no preceding public presence, and are thus beyond most doubt the original creation of the uploader.
• This template is not for traces of official arms, or derivatives. Copied colour schemes, or duplications of simple geometric shapes, are not copyright, and hence do not stop the substance of the work being original.
• This is not a valid license tag; files must be tagged with the copyright tag associated to the picture creation.
• Coats of Arms pictures found on the internet are usually copyrighted pictures.
• The presence of this tag does not mean the work was original, please check and update this tag if it was added under false pretences.
