Orange logo color fails WCAG 2 level AA compliance, and, by association, local accessibility legislation[edit]

It is disappointing that the orange OA icon on creative commons is a clear failure of WCAG AA success criteria: https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Understanding/non-text-contrast.html It is a graphic object that communicates important information to the end user and yet it only has 2.57:1 contrast ratio.
