Talk:Musée du Louvre:Inventory

Dear friends of Art: This Gallery-page Musée du Louvre:Inventory is much too huge! It is nearly impossible to view the page: After five minutes of upload, many of that hundreds of images stay white, navigation is nearly impossible to go down the page. Is it only for the rich part of the world with brand-new computers? Only the superrich fat bodies with flatrate upload, good connections to the nearby Servers of wikimedia, or for persons in bigmoneyCities with optimal data-transmission? It is nearly like the reality of the rich: Museums, holidays, traveling and nationalparks only for upper class. They do not understand, why people of Africa, Bolivia, Indian countryside, or lower connected people go away from Commons and Wikipedia! Too expensive! Too slow! So: Stop such overloaded pages, please, make subpages: 100 - 150 photos are enough for that page! If you use photos of the Louvre-rooms and the Main (!) Inventory there will be an impression to go to the linked sub-galleries for paintings, sculptures or other objects! The complete Louvre on one page is a bad idea: For people like mine the page is a booby-trap, on some days (PenteCOST! was one) the only possibility to leave that overloaded (User-)pages is to pull out the plug and ignore Commons. If you go to File:Italian paintings in the Louvre - Room 14 01.jpg (disk.) you can see alternatives: Link to such photo-description-pages (rooms), or to parts of the inventory! --LudwigSebastianMicheler (talk) 02:36, 11 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

tentative d'inventaire totalement inutile ![edit]

Si je cherche un thème précis, Zeus, Léonard de Vinci, Ramsès II, je fais comment ? --LOGOS & ALOGOS (talk) 06:36, 6 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
