English: Sir Richard Wallace, 1st Baronet (June 21, 1818 - July 20, 1890) was an English art collector, expander of the Wallace Collection, which is today a national art museum located in London. Living in Paris, in 1872 he donated fifty drinking fountains, known as Wallace fountains, to the cities of Paris and Lisburn. Together with his mistress, the very emancipated "Madame Sabatier", who kept a salon, he was part of the artist´s scene in Paris of that time
