Sergio Caputo (born in 1954) is an Italian composer, jazz singer and smooth jazz guitarist.

The musical career of Italian recording artist, composer and guitarist Sergio Caputo, now based in the California Bay Area, spans over 2 decades and began in Europe with the success of his first LP released in 1983. With a style of jazz and Latin-jazz infused pop, Sergio's recording career produced 15 albums released by major labels with which Sergio continued his experimentation of musical and lyrical expression. Collaborations in Sergio's career include those with Lester Bowie, Tony Scott, Mel Collins (King Crimson), Tony Bowers (Simply Red), Enrico Rava and Danilo Rea. Sergio just released his new Live CD entitled "La notte é un pazzo con le mèches " available on I-TUNES and Amazon, as well as his new Smooth jazz single: "On a lonely night" available exclusively on I-Tunes.
