Prestahnúkur

Deutsch: Prestahnúkur ist ein Vulkan im Westen von Island. Der Zentralvulkan liegt unweit der Hochlandpiste Kaldidalur. Zu ihm gehört ein Spaltensystem, das weit unter den Gletscherschild Langjökull reicht, und zu dem die Gletscher Geitlandsjökull und Þórisjökull gehören.

English: Prestahnúkur is a mountain and mostly ice-covered volcano in the west of Iceland. The central volcano is situated in the vicinity of the highland road Kaldidalur. He has a fissure system which reaches far under the ice cap Langjökull. The glaciers Geitlandsjökull and Þórisjökull are part of this volcanic system.
