Circuit de la vallée de l’Indus vers Lamayuru[edit]

Située à l'ouest du Ladakh le long du fleuve Indus et de la route Leh-Srinagar, la région de Sham (« sham » signifie « ouest » en ladakhi) est l'une des régions les plus peuplées du Ladakh. Cette excursion suit la vallée de l'Indus vers l'ouest jusqu'à Lamayuru. Elle passe par d’anciens monastères et quelques-uns des villages ladakhis les plus pittoresques.
