| Description |
Monday, October 15, 2018 (Middle River, MD) - County Executive Don Mohler joined Superintendent Verletta White, members of the BCPS School Board, Principal Margaret Roberts and members of Victory Villa Elementary School community to cut the ribbon on brand new Victory Villa Elementary School. The new school opened to students in September 2018. It replaces the old Victory Villa School building with a new 98,121-square-foot, state-of-the-art learning center, built using a prototype design and accommodating a state-rated student capacity of 735 seats, more than double the capacity of the former school building. The new school is a two-story masonry structured Elementary School that is LEED Silver, and includes 21st century technology, separate driveways for parents, buses, deliveries, and additional parking. |
