| Description |
In 1996, I made my first-ever visit to Washington, DC, using the Election Day long weekend, while I was a college student in New York City. I spent four days in the capital, and my emphasis was primarily to cover various topics that I had learned in my high school history and government/civics classes. And of course, my itinerary has to include paying respects to one of the greatest presidents in US history, Abraham Lincoln. Despite my equipment which could NOT have been any more than a basic point-and-shoot 35mm film camera using ISO 200 film, this shot came out decently. I am visiting after dark, when Tourmobile service is not running. I am not sure how I got here, considering that the nearest Metro station, Foggy Bottom, is several blocks away, but that must be how I got here. |
