Description

Svenska: KOSTYM (kavaj-)

Bestående av kavaj, väst och byxor.

Av vit cheviot samt med gulvita benknappar. Hand- och maskinsydda.

Kavaj: Enradig, livskuren, med fyra knappar samt nedviken krage och korta slag, i det vänstra ett knapphål; framstyckenas hörn rundade. Ryggen med sid- och axelsömmar. Knapparna runda, fyrhåliga, med plan framsida och stavformig kant. Foder av smalrandigt vitt siden (alpacka), på högra framstycket en bröstficka; ärmfoder av smalrandigt crèmegult halvsiden.

Mått: Ärmhålsdjup: 23 cm.; längd, hel: 76 cm.; ryggbredd, halv: 19 cm.; ärmlängd: 80 cm.; bröstvidd, fram: 44 cm.; bröstvidd, hel: 106 cm.; livvidd: 98 cm.

Väst: Enradig, med sex knappar som de mindre i kavajen, korta vinkelskurna slag, samt två svagt snedskurna sidofickor samt på vänstra framstycket dessutom en dylik bröstficka, alla med rak kantslå. Ryggstycke av vit ylleklot, ett stycke från nedre kanten två spänntampar med spänne av svartlackerad mässing och med två taggar (tornar). Nedtill i mitten ett sprund. Fodret i rygg- och framstycken av blommig vit bomullssatin.

Mått: Schalöppning: 31 cm. Hel västlängd: 70 cm.

Byxor: Upptill på vardera framstycket en snedskuren tvärficka. Midjeband med hake och hyska, knapp och knapphål samt sex hängselknappar. Gylfen med fyra små knappar ock knapphål. Midjebandet fodrat med rött skinn (saffian), bak- och gylffoder av vitt bomullstyg. Fickor av vitt bomullstyg. Knapphålen handsydda med vitt grovt silke eller vit bomullstråd.

Mått: Yttersöm, längd: 106 cm.; innersöm, längd: 82 cm.; livvidd: 82 cm.; stussvidd: 108 cm.; lårvidd: 66 cm.; knävidd: 48 cm.; vidd nedtill: 46 cm.

Förfärdigade efter beställning av Walther von Hallwyl i Oktober 1900 hos skrädderifirman Fr. Kaedings Efterträdare, Zittorin & Lundvik, hovleverantörer.

Begagnad av Walther von Hallwyl under hans resa genom Egypten och Sudan tillsammans med sin maka, dotter och svärson samt fröken Ida Uhse den 5 November 1900 till 29 Mars 1901.
