Description
English: The Xist gene evolved from a protein-coding gene and a set of transposable elements. Blue box – exons originating from Lnx3; red box - exons originating from transposable elements; dashed box – pseudoexons.
Русский: Происхождение гена Xist из последовательностей белоккодирующего гена Lnx3 и мобильных элементов разных классов. Синие прямоугольники – экзоны, эволюционировавшие из гена Lnx3; красные прямоугольники – экзоны, произошедшие из мобильных элементов. Заштрихованные синие и красные прямоугольники – последовательности экзонов, выявляющиеся в геноме, но не входящие в состав транскрипта Xist у данного вида. Консенсус – предположительная предковая структура гена Xist. Для генов Xist человека (Homo sapiens) и мыши (Mus musculus) приведена нумерация экзонов (m1–m8 – экзоны Xist мыши, h1–h8 – экзоны Xist человека) (Шевченко А. И., Захарова И. С., Закиян С. М.
