Description
Català: Pintura del rei - arxiduc Carles III. Està dipositada al Museu d'Història de Catalunya amb el registre MHC543 des del 4 d'octubre de 2002.
Datada a la primera meitat del segle XVIII, però se'n desconeix l'autor del quadre. Se sap que a la segona meitat del segle XIX Joseph Rafel Carreras Bulbena (historiador i investigador de l'arxiduc Carles durant llur estada a Catalunya entre 1705-1711, va publicar el 1902 Carlos d'Àustria un llibre biblingüe en català i en alemany) va comprar el quadre a la casa Llonch. Anys després el seu nét Josep Rafael Carreras de Nadal va voler en el seu testament que fos entregat al Museu d'Història de Catalunya.
English: Portrait of Holy Roman Emperor Charles VI. Is guarded in the Museum of History of Catalonia with the register number MHC543 since October 4th 2002.
It was made during the first half of 18th century, but the author is unknown. During the second half of 19th century Joseph Rafel Carreras Bulbena (historian and researcher about archduke Charles and his stay in Catalonia between 1705-1711, he published in 1902 Carlos d'Àustria a bilingual book in Catalan and German languages) bought the picture to the Llonch house. Several years later his grandson Josep Rafael Carreras de Nadal in his testament wanted to give the picture to the Museum of History of Catalonia.
