For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Grundschule, Schutzimpfung gegen Kinderlähmung Zentralbild Schneider 9.2.1961 Anti-Polio-Aktion beginnt In den Morgenstunden des heutigen Tages rüsten die Schulen der Hauptstadt der DDR zum Beginn der zweiten Immunisierungsaktion gegen die Poliomyelitis. Schüler und Lehrer tun ihren "Schluck fürs Leben". Der Impfstoff ist in Form von Tropfen und Dragees rechtzeitig in allen Impfzentralen eingetroffen. UBz: In der 2. Oberschule, Berlin-Friedrichshain, wurde die Immunisierungsaktion durchgeführt. Klassenerzieherin Marja Kopke reicht den Schülern der 2. Klasse die wertvollen Tropfen.
