Summary[edit]

Additional extreme poverty climate challenges
Title
Additional extreme poverty climate challenges
Description
Additional people at risk of extreme poverty with high climate adaptation challenges, 2030. Difference in the projected number of people living in extreme poverty between the baseline (business-as-usual) scenario and the projected scenario characterized by low economic growth coupled with low educational attainment levels and high global population growth at the global level; this results in high climate mitigation and adaptation challenges. The international poverty line is measured as living on less than $1.90 per day, which adjusts for inflation and cross-country price differences.
