| Description |
English: Squalene-hopene cyclase (SHC) from Alicyclobacillus acidocaldarius. SHC is a bacterial peripheral membrane protein that forms a dimer associated with the inner membrane. The membrane plane is shown in blue, the two monomers in green and pink, and a substrate mimetic bound in the central cavity of each protein in yellow. Rendered with PyMol from PDB ID 2SQC, with membrane position assigned based on the Orientation of Proteins in Membranes database (OPM, http://opm.phar.umich.edu/protein.php?search=2sqc)
