| Description |
English: "The Warrior's Grave", Kilnaughton This is an ancient gravestone situated within the ruins of Kilnaughton chapel. In the crook of its left arm is a puddle of water which it retains all year round. For centuries Ileachs have gone there to dip warts into this small puddle in order to have them cured. Don't ask me how it works but it did for me when I was a teenager and many people can say the same for their own warts! |
