Protocol relative links

Suggestion for a next bot run, when more important things are to be done: Change the http:// links in "people" section9 to protocol relative links Beneš, Dr. Edvard, Staatspräsident, Außenminister, Ministerpräsident, Tschechoslowakei (118655450) or to wikilinks Beneš, Dr. Edvard, Staatspräsident, Außenminister, Ministerpräsident, Tschechoslowakei (118655450). Good idea. There was bunch of other strange things I was thinking about fixing in a second run, but of course I do not remember them now. Some of them:
 • use <gallery></gallery> in other versions field instead of or syntax
 • search and remove creator templates and author from license attribution
 • move people list from Abgebildete Personen: section of archive title field to depicted people field [1]
 • change to (may be only when other changes are made)
 • other ideas?

May I?

Hi there! Can I use this picture for an article in the german wikipedia? Where can I find precise information on which photos are free and which ones are not? – Andek (talk) 19:25, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

The Question has been answered in the forum. Thank you. Andek (talk) 09:39, 21 July 2012 (UTC)

Stumped on image overwrite

Hi, folks. Please take a look at File:Bundesarchiv Bild 146-2004-0023, Erich von Falkenhayn.jpg. In August, User:Mariaflores1955 uploaded a new file over an existing Bundesarchiv image, claiming "Another file from Bundesarchiv from the same series. Better resolution and higher quality image." However, I cannot find this new image in the Bundesarchiv. Am I missing something? I'm inclined to just revert it back to the old version. Powers (talk) 18:33, 8 October 2012 (UTC)

co-operation has ended !?

If I am not mistaken then this co-operation has been ended unilaterally by the Bundesarchiv and no new images will be donated. Therefore, I think it would be good to change the text of the Commons page on the Bundesarchiv files. --ALE! ¿…? 13:02, 31 January 2013 (UTC)

Stats question

I know we've had a lot of errors reported at Commons:Bundesarchiv/Error reports - does anyone have any idea roughly how many? Andrew Gray (talk) 22:11, 31 July 2013 (UTC)

There are 1270 Bundesarchiv image links on those pages. If you need some interesting examples of corrections, see here or here. --Jarekt (talk) 19:41, 19 August 2013 (UTC)

License

Are all of the Bundesarchiv photos licensed CC-BY-SA or only some of them? For example, I see that Bild 183-R98690 has not been uploaded to commons. Does that mean that it is not freely licensed or that it still has not been uploaded? --IngenieroLoco (talk) 10:46, 16 August 2017 (UTC)

Only those uploaded to Commons. Some of those are actually even PD. But there are many non-free, not CC-licensed photos in the (online) collections of the Bundesarchiv. Gestumblindi (talk) 11:20, 16 August 2017 (UTC)

Apparently mis-captioned image

Looks like File:Bundesarchiv B 145 Bild-F054628-0034, Ludwigshafen, CDU-Bundesparteitag.jpg is mis-identified. See Commons:Help desk#Change of portrait or, if that has gone away by the time you are looking, here's a permalink. - Jmabel ! talk 00:25, 28 September 2023 (UTC)

I've taken a shot at fixing categories, etc., on File:Bundesarchiv B 145 Bild-F054628-0034, Ludwigshafen, CDU-Bundesparteitag.jpg, but someone should still have a look (and proabably report this to the Bundesarchiv). - Jmabel ! talk 01:07, 29 September 2023 (UTC)
