Cross section of the head of pseudo-larvae Ancistrus dolichopterus through the olfactory olfactory rosette (standard length fish 9,5 mm). Microphotographs of sections were obtained in the Schmalhausen Institute of Zoology, NAS of Ukraine, using microscope Zeiss Axio Imager M1 and software Zeiss AxioVision v.4.63. Sections were stained with hematoxylin and eosin and alcian blue stain (according to Steedman, 1950).

Block nanostructures on the surface of the p-InP after photoelectrochemical etching in the electrolyte 12H2O+2HCl+1HBr. Photos of nanostructures were obtained in scanning electron microscope JSM-6490 by the researchers of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University. Increased 50 times.

Squalenoyl-doxorubicin is a prospective anti-cancer nanomedicine, which is delivered in the form of elongated self-assembled nanoparticles. This picture shows a model of cylindrical squalenoyl-doxorubicin nanoparticle obtained by means of all-atom molecular dynamics simulations [2]. The doxorubicin part is shown as balls and sticks surrounded by transparent molecular surface. The squalene part is shown as sticks. The blue spheres are sodium ions. Colored semi-transparent cylinders show the size of the nanoparticle and have the radii of 0.3, 0.8, 1.1 and 1.9 nm.
